The cube does NOT stay on the button. I solved the test, but I couldn't perform the solution.

Excellent puzzle. I worked out the first part (getting myself up to the stair platform) quite quickly, but the second part, especially the significance of re-spawning cube by crushing it with the piston, took me ages, including a night’s sleep.

Гениально!

Gaaaaaaaaah! This one is definitely the hardest of your puzzles for me! I actually played this 3 or 4 times, and just NOW I got how to solve this! Nicely done, not gonna favorite it cuz man, that was a lot of struggle, but the "aha!" moment was fantastic

ahh needed a bit of a hint in the middle but finished myself. good one!

Thank you guys! <3

@p0rtalmaster prime Haha yeah, I'll probably name another one after a disease sometime in October-December when the disease show I always watch comes back on for another season :P
But yes, this series of chambers are named after various planets from the Halo series. Kimist108 helped me named this particular one.

This one may very well be your hardest yet. Nice work as usual :p2cube: I remember there was a time you would name your chambers after all sorts of diseases, though I have to ask what the etymology behind the names of the chambers of this series is (particularly this chamber).

Took me awhile but I finally got it. Great puzzle.

Very nice puzzle, I think the angled panel and block doesn't work very well because sometimes the cube doesn't stay in the button, also they are 'distracting' players from the nice solution involved.

Wow, this puzzle seemed more and more confusing, the more thought I put into it. It even feels like this was the most challenging puzzle I've played all month.
However, when I figured out what I had to do, everything seemed logical and easy.
I think the puzzle's idea is cool and I enjoyed it very much. Thumbs up!

No, that wasn't necessary.
Rector  [author] 23 Dec, 2015 @ 7:55am
@Innocentive Thanks Innocentive! But the cube block doesn't work, it also might "block out" the intended solution because people might think that because the block is there you shouldn't funnel it :P

@kimist108 I was afraid it didn't, it only happened to me once but I'm afraid it might be more than once for everybody else. Thankfully it did stay :D

@temporarymanwastaken It's still possible? I'm aware of that solution thats why the walls perpendicular to it is black. I'm guessing you portal-ed the funnel to the side of its magnet?

@quatrus Thanks for playing, quatrus! That's what I was aiming for :) I changed it to medium difficulty, hopefully it fits better.
quatrus 23 Dec, 2015 @ 7:43am
The last cube shuffle to get the cube on the upper level really got me for quite a while. Nice puzzle - not sure it is easy - more medium-difficult? Thanks for creating again....

I found an unintended path up to the high ledge. I used the cube to climb the cube block and angled panel, and jumped from the cube atop the angled panel to a funnel Combine that with DeathWish808's throw and it can be solved with 8 portals.
kimist108 21 Dec, 2015 @ 12:06pm
So glad you added the note saying the angled panel needed to be ignored. And about the cube staing on the button. The first few times it did not and I thought I was on the wrong track, but then I remembered your remark and so, it did stay on after a couple of more itmes and I quickly hit that F6 key.
Innocentive 20 Dec, 2015 @ 7:06am
Well, if the angled panel was only there to get the cube on the button you could have used just another cube block, right? That's what I'm referring to. But it's really not a big issue, or in fact no issue at all! As I said, I think this is a great map and it is also different to many others of your maps so I liked it a lot :)
Rector  [author] 20 Dec, 2015 @ 6:46am
@DeathWish808 Thanks for your video, DeathWish! I certainly didn't expect that cube throw ! And I was surprised at how fast you solved it :P

@tuleby (CZ) Thanks tuleby! :D: Haha maybe ;)

@jgaultney Thanks jgaultney! :D: I'm glad it managed to stump you for a bit haha :)

@Innocentive Thanks Innocentive! Why was it misleading? Was it the connection between it and the switch? It's actually also there to prevent an unintended solution so I guess I should've been more clear about that. :P
Innocentive 19 Dec, 2015 @ 3:15pm
Great map! I found the intended solution but I'd say that what you say about the purpose of the angled panel is a least a bit misleading. Anyway, once the spawned cube didn't hit the button in my session, all the other times it landed on spot :)
jgaultney 19 Dec, 2015 @ 10:44am
A tricky and challenging puzzle! It took me awhile to figure out the second half. :steamfacepalm:
Thumbs up. :p2cube:

:p2aperture: Nice chamber buddy, the brain hot. Another chamber will be called "Chukotka"? :D:
... BTW ...
DeathWish808 19 Dec, 2015 @ 9:48am
Great puzzle. Had me thinking quite a bit until things connected and got the "AHA!" moment.
