@SIR Hugh Mungus

Is that sexual harassment?

Everyone seems to enjoy playing as them, but I enjoy playing against them! lol The AI uses them very aggressively making the Toltecs a menacing opponent. I do wonder however why they don't seem to expand. In one game they never founded even a second city and in my most recent they conquered two cities before finally settling a #2 of their own. Thanks for the great work! :SocialPolicy:

@Penitencia

That's weird, which Mexico in particular are you using, can you post screenshots?
Penitencia 2 May, 2016 @ 1:08pm
I would like to play against this civ, but anytime the mod its activated and im using another civ (México for example) i cannot see my great works or move them because my turism overview looks empty (even the buildings), please fix this problem, because as a mexican i would love to use the mighty Toltecs with its glorious Atlantes.:CapitalDome::Citadel:

A very very nice mod. The artwork is great - it's not OP - makes for a good game. Thanks for the nice work.

It is important to note that the production for land units is on a city basis, and to be honest it'd be difficult to get that many artists halfway through the game, you are talking about 5 great works of art per city, you probably won't get close to that throughout the whole game. The xp from the gardens is pretty small as well, and the slots have to be there to ensure cities can actually hold great works of art in the first half of the game.

then it will be balanced. As for the improvement, maybe a more specific req? (forest or jungle coated hills perhaps?) either that or losing the gold or culture, or requiring a later tech to gain it. Just throwing out ideas.
NoSoulTroll 12 Mar, 2016 @ 10:32pm
With all the uniques it is WAY too easy to get great people. The trait pretty much means by midgame you will be getting 25% faster land units at least, and even more late game. You get a garden that can be built anywhere (not broken) but gives you two free great work slot and free xp as a "why not" bonus, and along with the trait, you're gonna be getting super fast unit production from a building you are going to want to build in every city anyway (garden's are amazing if you are working any specialist slots). The improvement giveing free GPP's are a bit too much along with the gold and culture on a terrain that is already decent (hills).

With that said, I love the synergy, and it's a well designed civ but I think some of these bonuses can be toned down. Perhaps keeping the normal garden restrictions and only 1 instead of 2 great work slots, and maybe

This one was really enjoyable to play as. Excellent synergy between all the uniques. I found the UI to be quite aesthetically pleasing, and its effects are certainly unique. The UB is awesome. One little thing I noticed about it though is that there's no theming bonus. Since the UB incentivizes you to store great works of art in it instead of in other free slots you have, it really needs to have a theming bonus. I realize that it's quite a powerful building to begin with, so maybe have the theming bonus not kick in until archaeology, since that's when museums become available. Overall, I absolutely loved this civ, and playing it was a pretty unique experience.

@lightbrigade43

Totem poles aren't related to any of the cultures I've covered.

What do you mean by "How do they get added", do you mean how do I pick what civs to do?
lightbrigade43 24 Feb, 2016 @ 9:06am
I like playimg all of your mods, Would you consider adding Totem Poles to one of your American Indian Tribes/Nations? I love those the best! How do these Civs get added to the Civ5 lineup?

@shinmusashi44

I must have pasted the wrong description when doing a minor update. Fantastic.

Hey, the info and download link is wrong. It's for the isle of mann, not the toltec empire.
RJ  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 3:10pm
@Toheck

Thanks for the comment!

The actual process of adding the art files etc. is very simple, the real difficulty is finding a model, and using various programs to make the model usable in civ v.

Oh, and finding people who can use such programs, very few people in the modding community are able to.
ianandsue5 21 Dec, 2015 @ 4:04am
Oh, I see. Well thank you for explaining. I wish I knew how to do Art for Mods because work on my First one has more or less ground to a Halt but hopefully I'll get back to it soon. In the mean Time I plan to have a Play of this Mod, which I have actually been looking Forward to for quite some Time.
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 20 Dec, 2015 @ 2:02pm
@ianandsue5: The reason why I haven't released anything lately is either because the code is basically done but I'm missing the art, or I have the art but I'm missing the ability to do the code. I should release something soon hopefully.
DMS 19 Dec, 2015 @ 2:45pm
Great mod - glad to see it released :D
Toheck 19 Dec, 2015 @ 2:23pm
Good looking mod, especially the Atlantes.

How hard is it to put a new improvement graphic in the game, by the way?
