@Smokytoks I had the same issue but I couldn't figure out which mod was the culprit. I thought my game was corrupted so I reinstalled it. I am glad I saw this!

have same issue but with me the schooltoolbar and monuments is gone can also not find the issue very strange it happend after the update. and i use only up to date and mods from the best modders so no other crap mods.
StayHungryStayFoolish 21 Jun, 2023 @ 4:20am
@Smokytoks please share your SKYVE profile to find out which mod is causing interference.
Smokytoks 21 Jun, 2023 @ 4:13am
This is strange, here is what I get: See here ...

What other mod could potentially interact with this toolbar? This is the only symptom...
StayHungryStayFoolish 20 Jun, 2023 @ 1:30pm
@Smokytoks OK, I checked the district toolbar, it is also working fine. See here.
Smokytoks 20 Jun, 2023 @ 11:05am
Also, bsides this specific issue, the mod is working perfectly...
Smokytoks 20 Jun, 2023 @ 11:05am
@StayHungryStayFoolish
Well, I don't know what to say: I tested various scenario, none of them including any mod listed on the incompatible list. And the only mod causing what the behavior described is this one...

Just a detail: the issue is not affecting the policy panel, only the district toolbar (where you select the area type or the specialization) which is empty.

But, as said, I solved the issue, just wanted to mention it just in case...
StayHungryStayFoolish 20 Jun, 2023 @ 10:31am
@Smokytoks District Policies Highlighting works OK, and the Policies toolbar showing up, all tabs are filled and the highlighting is also visible. See here. Please follow the Treasure & Hunt compatible modlist.
Smokytoks 20 Jun, 2023 @ 9:45am
Playing heavily modded, I recently ran into an issue where the District toolbar would show up, with all the expected tabs, but all of them totally empty: after troubleshooting, I seem to have narrowed it down to this mod, as deactivating it solved my issue.

But I've grown fond of this mod, so if you could take a look, that'd be great. Feel free to ask if you need any element, log, etc...

@BloodyPenguin Thank you for updating! I haven't played since the new game update but I am excited to have this mod ready to help me when I do.
BloodyPenguin  [author] 23 Mar, 2023 @ 5:21pm
Updated for game version 1.16.1 :)
StayHungryStayFoolish 13 Mar, 2023 @ 5:28pm
Using Financial District compatible modlist, I got a simulation error (over and over again in output.txt) and lower FPS using District Policy Highlighting mod. I removed the mod and the error is gone. I added back, the error has returned.

It seems, that District Policy Highlighting mod has interference with other mod or it is not working properly.

We are investigating the issue with Chamëleon TBN.
aortali 10 Mar, 2023 @ 2:09am
@Darkangel It works perfectly on district policies and specialties unless you set financial or other very recent policies, these simply do not apply the highlights. The policies all work, just the highlights don't.
Dvasong_***** 9 Mar, 2023 @ 8:34am
broken after financial districts DLC
Darkangel 12 Feb, 2023 @ 11:42pm
yao try to be more precise you mean the new districts you made after you installed this mod or the new dlcs like financial districts ?? This works fine when highlighting which districts have schools out and bicycle encouragement.
aortali 5 Jan, 2023 @ 9:14pm
@BloodyPenguin If you are still modding, please update this one for the new district types so we can continue to use this lovely little mod to the fullest advantage. By this I mean the new financial, wall to wall districts. Love this mod, and your many others (including the ones which have been renewed and updated by others but would not exist without you!)
yao_zhou 1 Jan, 2023 @ 3:03am
Mod is not able to highlight new districts
Wuschel 12 Nov, 2022 @ 1:13pm

Witchberry 17 Sep, 2022 @ 11:35pm

@BloodyPenguin " What exactly should I update? "

Sometimes people just read the "Updated" date on the mod's info panel and suppose it doesnt work for some reason / the mod's dead.
Steam should add a "Description updated" date or something
TTold_ 26 Nov, 2018 @ 11:10am
Does this fix the bug of the policies window not opening? If not, could you include that if possible?
BloodyPenguin  [author] 29 Oct, 2018 @ 11:47am
@yp-freedom What exactly should I update?
freedompata 29 Oct, 2018 @ 6:18am
Update
BloodyPenguin  [author] 6 Oct, 2018 @ 1:19am
@dim4 No, let's keep them separate
AM7655 22 Jul, 2018 @ 9:50pm
BloodyPenguin bortherman can you build this into your mod please? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=433557907&searchtext=district+name
BloodyPenguin  [author] 21 Oct, 2017 @ 4:03am
@npcdelta Updated, thanks for reporting!
npcdelta 20 Oct, 2017 @ 2:52pm
@BloodyPenguin I believe this mod is preventing the Office and Residental specialization district tabs from showing up in Green Cities DLC. When I enable all of my mods (~60) except this one, I get the two new specializations. If I enable only the Unlock All mod (to get to districts milestone) and this mod, I don't get the Office and Residential tabs. Thanks and hopefully its a quick fix!
Zlaayer 12 Jul, 2017 @ 1:03pm
BP would you pretty please make a mod that removes the limit for number of districts? I like to mix district themes and specialize. I hit the limit with onl 50k population. BTW you've single handedly made this game playable. I have most of your mods subbed. Thanks so much.
BloodyPenguin  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 8:54pm
@FalloutGames Description says it all. Don't worry, it won't infect your PC.
BrendenNeedzHelp 15 Mar, 2017 @ 1:22pm
What does this mod do? Because I want to know before I download it.
BrowncoatTrekky 13 Dec, 2016 @ 4:18am
I know @BloodyPenguin. Just throwing the idea out there. Please check it out when you got a sec.
BloodyPenguin  [author] 13 Dec, 2016 @ 2:34am
@BrowncoatTrekky There's no need to add that to this mod since it's a different kind of functionality. I'll look into it when I have time.
BrowncoatTrekky 12 Dec, 2016 @ 4:52pm
Would it be possible to have the option to disable the visibility of the district with such a mod as well during construction mode? For example wish there was a way to remove the name and polcies of the district watermarked over the city district.
BloodyPenguin  [author] 29 Nov, 2016 @ 12:14pm
This mod should be compatible with C:S 1.6.0 (a.k.a Natural Disasters update)
BloodyPenguin  [author] 29 Sep, 2016 @ 1:34pm
@bebob You can highlight district specializations. Just open the panel you use to set specializations and hover (or click?) icons.
bebob 27 Sep, 2016 @ 3:40am
Works!!!

Would love to see also my industrial assigned zones/districts highlighted when hovering over. Is this possible?
BloodyPenguin  [author] 21 Jul, 2016 @ 3:30am
@DrWegey [FR] TBH, it's a feature of vanilla game that for some reason CO left hidden. Probably they just forgot to provide access to it :)
DrWegey [FR] 20 Jul, 2016 @ 4:34pm
This is the kind of mod which add a function that's just seem natural. The kind of stuff you don't understand why it's not included in vanilla game. Awesome mod.
longbaugh01 14 Jun, 2016 @ 2:30pm
Hey BP, I know you're busy with so many awesome C:S improvements, but I'd like to request a simple lightweight mod that allows players to toggle District Names/District Policy Icons On/Off. I'm kinda amazed no one has done it yet in this way. It would be neato.
tenpoints 8 Jun, 2016 @ 4:25am
@BloodyPenguin thanks. I'm going to scope it out as a personal project, but if you want to go for it by all means do so. I was just checking to see if the district highlighting functionality was possible, and this mod implies that it is.
BloodyPenguin  [author] 8 Jun, 2016 @ 1:59am
@tenpoints It should be but I would make it a different mod
tenpoints 7 Jun, 2016 @ 9:58pm
Hi BloodyPenguin,

I've got an idea to expand this (at least the highlighting functionality) with a demographics mod.
See reddit for my idea . Do you think it's possible?
BloodyPenguin  [author] 8 Apr, 2016 @ 12:48am
@Akterbat This mod doesn't affect saves in any way and it's not broken. When you say something you must prove it. Or you sound silly otherwise.
Akterbat 7 Apr, 2016 @ 8:07pm
Beware, seems to be broken on 1.4+. Deleted all the districts from my save. Seems to remain deleted even after mod is disabled.
SaintDamien 23 Mar, 2016 @ 8:40am
@BloodyPenguin,

I know of this mod, but i don't want it trough out the whole of the city.
Only in certain areas, hence this request.

If you would be so kind to give it a try, PLEASE DO! If anyone can, it's you.
BloodyPenguin  [author] 22 Mar, 2016 @ 3:04am
@SaintDamien I don't believe them ;) But as I remember there's already a mod that disables parking in the whole city
SaintDamien 20 Mar, 2016 @ 3:51am
Sorry, i just read the modding Q&A, and the devs said it's not possible at all to mod the policies :'(
