Having just clicked this and seen the upload date of 2015 I was about to press back. Glad I checked the comments! This is still an awesome concept that's missing from large carrier designs.

I am looking for something to go around and pick up "trash" and lug to my grinders... do you think this will work? Can I place this on my small ship? Does this attract the ground voxels, so it won't pull me down if I have it pointing down?

idk, i've been working through my model and updating this one needs some attention. I have noticed however that the shoot on/off doesn't seem to work properly right now, I suspect it might be a bug that is causing that.

I love everything about these things except the noise they make, it seems to work great! I use it turned upside down to suck up personnel and ground vehicles into my hanger. Good work!

would there actually be a chance of increasing the range of the tracking beam?
I mean, for small ships into stations is great, but to make something like halo CE, thrut and reconciliation, it would be very hard.

@flori1994, if you add the this mod at top of list any mod after it that has custom 'projectiletrailline.dds' files will overwrite my texture, so if you want a different texture for those beam weapons put them after my mod.

unfortunately thats the only way to change the projectile appearance and it affects all projectiles.
