Howdy! It seems that tundra terrain is unaffected by both terrain altering spells (such as blight domain) and terrain altering abilities (such as path of decay or path of life). It is slightly annoying haha

This mod does a LOT to multiple map layers. But if no cities are spawning, it's because another mod is also touching underground generation.

No, I didn't know that. I also don't know where that patch went, and there's quite a lot of things that need such a patch. And I definitely don't have the time to look into it myself, even if I had been familiar with Eomolch's mod.

Yep sorry I thought you knew that link is broken but I found one by doing a search but holy crap there's like a billion required mods even for stuff I don't use or like like shadow realm. WTH is an elder elder eldrich lol and why is it available turn 1 and how did an older eldrich lose the abilities of younger eldrich horrors like dominate?

So does Tundra have the same effect as units who like Arctic? and what does Autumn replace? Tropical? Barrens? I'm just wondering what the extra themes are for if they don't do anything to happiness or units happiness? I've notice that the happiness is not effected in these themes.

Hey Charlatan, amazing work, just wanted to add my voice to the request for a compatibility mod with City Development Mod. All that is needed is for the new biomes (Autumn, Tundra) to be taken into account by the buildings in that mod.

Hi Charlatan sorry to hear about injury and I wish you a speedy recovery. The only problem I can see when playing both mods is the structures from OMAS (sea weed, coral reef etc) and dwelling are in the Tome but don't seem to spawn in the RMG. This is playing with the new Shadow Elves mod as well so could test it without that. Is there an easy way to test if mods are working properly instead of just looking on the map to see if things have spawned on there?

@USeagull No, I dont have better things to do than fixing up my mods for my followers! Its just that it is really complicated. You don't need to be sorry, but please be patient. This Autumn I had a bad injury to the shoulder of my main arm, and I type very slowly.
I hope to find a way to patch this without offending Eomolch's work. Honestly, Despite looking through it I dont remember which exactly all the issues were - and since it crashes now, its hard to see. If my arm feels better and I got time, im sure I can find it.

@AlienArtificer It could be removed if I perform quite the vasectomy on my mod and upload it as a separate version.

I searched long and wide but found simply no way to mod the User Interface of the RMG options, and new terrains automatically take 1.0 if theres no slider.

So am I correct in understanding that tundra and autumn can only ever be of equal weight to every other kind of biome, and that's only by turning all their sliders all the way up? And there isn't a way to turn that off and just play with the spawned structures and/or the shadowrealm with the mods for that?

Mmmh this is a little complicated, these files record whether it was already uploaded before and who made it, if that doesnt align, you can't upload it. I would need to look into making a new patch.
Problem: Not allowed to do so without the permission of the creator of Old Man and the Sea.

Charlatan, it seems the Decodence RMG Integration & The Old Man and the Sea compatibility mod that was in your workshop has somehow disappeared since at least October 2019 (see message from T.tv/Asierus24 at that time). So if you can re-upload it from your files, that would solve the issue.

after multitide test, it is this mod "Decodence - RMG Integration" that disable structure reward variety mod for some reasons. i suspect the overly abundant autumn and toundra land to conflict some way or another. but i am not sure about it.

Hello gladis! My mistake, really, when I said this it was true for the base game, but I forgot it needs specific changes in the DLCs too and every mod that may relate.

In the base game it does, indeed, behave like arctic and temperate and the benefit of it is more variety - probably what doesnt interest you, the graphical look - I only realized it doesnt properly involve halflings and frostlings when things were a little too late, I am still here typing one-handed and slow, and modding well requires both that and the mouse, it''d be super slow motion. I really want to fix this, but its a problem atm.

1st I want to say thanks for the work with this mod.
I only use it sometimes with the Shadow Realm Expansion - and I am not the only player who is a bit confused by the new climates Tunda and Autumn.
What is the benefit from them?

I think Hiliadan proposed to give feedback here.
So if there is no important reason for those 2 climates, I would ask you to extract them to a separate mod, so the SR Expansion doesn´t have these climates.

The climates could lead to a kind of unbalancing as more fights take place / more cities are founded on indifferent terrain. And I think it is a bit boring as well - the graphical add-ons are not that important for me.

Charlatan, you wrote "Tundra is alike Arctic and Autumn is alike Temperate" but Halflings (and probably all other Races) are indifferent to Tundra climate, so you only meant a "graphical" look-alike?

I can only hope so, i like this mod and i think the new content it brings are beautiful to say the least, the new biomes looks really nice and the new structures are really interesting.

I sure would like to make them compatible when there's time, for cases like this I cannot promise anything though - such changes must be made with a Compatibility Patch based on both mods, which may only be done with permission/support of the City Development Mod Author.

Hello, i've noticed that the New Biomes (Tundra, etc..) don't seem to be compatible with City Developpement mod, when i research any of the ''Terrain bonus buildings'' (Like mill, hunting, etc..) it doesn't count if its on Tundra terrain.

Yeah, there was most likely a rare bugg, because the reward should always be a unit, if you copied the reward directly from "Sunken City" (which seems to be the case), which I didnt recieve. I did clear another one a few turns earlier and recieved a "Lord of the Deep" which is in line with what the wikia report on rewards. Nevertheless, if no one else have any problems lets forget it happen and hope it doesnt happened again!

To avoid bugs or causing unfair/imbalanced content or similar, all new treasure sites actually use a copy of a Vanilla Treasure site for rewards and defenders. IIRC for both The Sword of the Ashen Rose and the Raven's Home I used the same loot table as the "Forbidden Sanctum"
It could be the Sanctum changed in later patches, but afaik that's the one that can actually randomly give all 4, no?
It could have been a rare/single case of an issue you experienced there, because it would be very strange that this issue never appeared earlier.

Hi, Im pretty sure that the reward from "Sword of the Ashen Rose" was bugged.
The reward was some gold, a Obsidian Dragon and some spell points. But instead of getting the dragon I got "Summon Obsidian Dragon". Sadly I can't double check as it was in a PBEM game and doing so would force me to remove the saved files and force a restart of the turn. Can you confirm the reward should be a unit, gold and research points? Or should it be gold, a spell and research points, or perhaps all 4?

Oh... the graphic issue is new and very surprising o_o I never changed the icons since they were first added and the error never appeared to me nor was it reported.

Thanks for notifying me about the tundra! I recently made sure the new terrain's landscape is considered as it should, but I forgot about the themes themselves indeed.
