Stubbornness of the elder nordmens ;) But i hope sometimes the people will see that ship routes will happen only if there is a passage like in this CitiesSkylinesMap. I tried this map without a passage to the baltic sea and failed with the use of ships because they became nearly useless in the game *g* and with a passage this is totally different. I realize again, this touching my heart *gg* and i should stop writing be4 it becomes 2 much text :P tnx all commenters

Ja, das ist der berühmte Durchstich, der hier immer mal wieder diskutiert wird. Wegen Handelsstreitereien im 14. Jahrhundert wurde diese Lücke mit Schiffen geschlossen. Etwas mehr erzählt https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fischland . Ich hab nur den Ursprungszustand wiederhergestellt ;)

obviously this is not netherlands :), the only people who are really able to create flatlands from scratch but my company sells bulldozers and some other heavy machines, really big stuff! everything you need to make flatlands from mountains. we even planning for terraforming missions to mars! search for terraform in the workshop. you´ll finding there talented engineers who can help you make flatlands everywhere ;p

@scott: ya, maybe you´ll face problems with polluted water. In this region is no water pollution in real life. Modern water treatment technologies r used here ;)
i dont really understand ur problem because i build this map so many times, never faced a prob where i cant connect the water tubes. But I had problems with polluted water and started using green tech. maybe a solution 4 you or play the paradise map from MrMiyagi.

I really like the design of the map but had to stop using it because I couldn't find a place to put the drain pipes where they wouldn't end up flowing into the water pump.

@sonti: with zero degrees at the north pol we have to wait just some years ;)
