Then i opened the ark dev kit... and i gotta say kudos because i got no clue.

Thanks for that and glad you like the Ammo costing and alike thats what I was basically aiming for, as you said not too expensive but not too cheap

OK. they work on bronto platform sadle, ammo is nice expense, not super stupid cheap but not OMG like bullets.

THe Bp should be mostly same specs as normal Turret cant say I have tested or had a chance to play and see if turrets are still available on platforms sorry but would love to know if they do.(I would think not but please test if you can and get back to me)As for ammoo it is designed for a cheaper for of ammo it is its own Engram as it is a new colored arrow that goes into arrow turrets.Ballista is a Standard Ballitsta but Automated. Hope this answers all your questions.

Im looking for a cheaper upkeep(ammo) way to have turrets on my server, and i like that these arent just a machinegun turret.

Do these work on saddle platforms/rafts?
Are they regular arrows/balista bolts or are they a new engram (whichever is fine with me)?
and finally what kind of damage/fire rate are we looking at here?

Side question do you have any Industral Forge or cooled feed bin dino mods those seem to be rare (working ones anyway).

yer I had it working that way for a bit of fun but if you didnt turn it off quick it kills them also as soon as it goes down if it gets another hit you are going to lose levels for damage,If I could make it stop on its own then mayb but a little op still in my opinion

Or you could just stand next to the generator that's powering the turret, and turn the genny off when the dino goes down...

So, would it be possible to instead make one with no weapon damage? That way it deals only torpor?

no tranq arrows in this one matey all normal arrows I did try make one but there is no way of knowing when animal is knocked out so it keeps firing until dead.

What's the rate of fire on the arrow turret? would it be appropriat for taming? or would it likely kill the thing I'm trying to bring down?

check your files and folers anre the same on server as on client I just tested seems to build fine for me

I will look into it yes. When this way made it wouldnt let me but it has been a while since so I may be able to find a way,I will look into it no promise tho.

Will this portable generator ever power things other than the Ballista in this mod? Such as lights?

It is working fine for me, so have you made sure you have latest files on client and server, also are you using the outlet from the mod as this is needed to power the Ballista and not the ingame one. Should have a red cable attaching outlet to Ballista.

nope i tried every distance, from right next to it then i tried setting it in diff angles and still no luck

hmm not too far away is it as nothing has been changed to do with the electrics so should be still working fine ill check though.

i place the small generator fill it with full put a vertical electrical cable and an electrical outlet on top still doesnt power up my ballista after i turn on the generator. Any ideas?

I screwed around with the mod order and that seemed to fix the issue so never mind my previous post, thanks.

Yes it was updated on 30th the comment was a bit delayed answering whitemangrin.
If you have latest files from 30th then your all good.
@Zerik make sure you have all files client and server side

@redbackdanno, you posted that you have updated but in your description it says last update was on 30th of Jan. I checked my Mods folder to be sure but the latest changes there was also 30th of Jan. Can you confirm that the mod is updated. Thanks

Just holding off for a min the Dev kit on update deleted where the mod goes so my other mod updated with new mod number so holding off till I find or the makers fix,I have all updates done just waiting on that.:)
