oh this one was easy

This is proof a good game of Portal 2 can be itself simplistic. I peg this around easy-casual, pretty much a straight run here.

Short 'n' sweet.

Nice fun map. Thanks!

While unable to solve from the thumbnail as others, I did seem to step from one correct move to the next. While it has been said that this puzzle is easy, it boosts my ego more if I say that it is actually me getting better at "thinking with portals"--which I needed since Ben77's "Barrier" had me on the ropes for quite some time prior to this offering.

I found an alternate solution where you can take the cube to the ending room, put a portal in front of the floor button and another across from the wall button, throw the cube through the portal while standing on the button, and then quickly shoot another portal at the tractor beam. Then the beam will pick up the cube and carry it to the exit. I'm very proud of myself lol

@dj3 Could you send me a link to the other map? You might have played my map Divided 2.0 (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1275386927)

I would never steal somebody else's test chamber - but there are quite a lot of copies of my maps out there because I'm a well-known workshop author.

Who stole the idea from who? Seen almost the same map a few maps ealier.

Great puzzle! It amazes me how complex of puzzles you can make using such few elements.

Really made me think
No but seriously, a very nice puzzle. I almost (just barely) stumped myself, but I got it eventually. Very nice!

Glad you're enjoying my Best Of collection!

This puzzle makes a great palette cleanser. Thanks!

Thanks for the chamber. Simple structure, not too hard but still clever. Classic.
Mikeastro 20 Sep, 2017 @ 7:53am
Nothing too difficult, but it was fun nonetheless

Fun. Blind run: https://youtu.be/rzKmHsRs6vg Thanks.

@[NG] Midd Thanks! I don't like timing either, but since this only required walking, and there's plenty of room for error, I thought it was fine.
Midd 29 Jul, 2017 @ 6:19am
Cool, I prefer puzzles where you can take as much time as you need to do every step, but it was good.

Good quick puzzle. After doing a long puzzle its nice to do a quick easy one.

Very good!!
DeathWish808 4 Feb, 2017 @ 11:58am
Easy, as you said, but lack of difficulty doesn't make or break a map when it's an actual puzzle. Thumbs up as always.

Yep, liked that, pretty simple once you work out the logic, but there's nothing wrong with that and the idea's sound, so thumbs up and I'll hunt out some of your other, perhaps more challenging puzzles. Thank you. PS I like your comment ” I can't believe this test became so popular, I only made it to be an easy little puzzle!
FinalDestiny 7 Jul, 2016 @ 1:28am
took my time to figure it out,but very nice
z34chris 10 Apr, 2016 @ 11:34am
hi, can i use this test in an underground-styled map provided credit is given?
The Sojourner 3 Apr, 2016 @ 7:56pm
Excellent puzzle :p2cube: I found that you could make this a touch more solid by disabling auto-respawn on the cube dropper.
1980 24 Feb, 2016 @ 4:50am
This is really creative and fun to proceed.
wildgoosespeeder 1 Feb, 2016 @ 3:50pm
Very good test.

My favorite kind of puzzle: for a while I thought I must be an idiot, then I had that "aha moment" and now I'm back to thinking I'm a genius.
tu7650x 13 Jan, 2016 @ 9:01pm
Not as easy as it looks at first. Excellent puzzle, the best kind actually: few elements and a lot of thinking
machadown 13 Jan, 2016 @ 2:00pm
One of your best chambers actually, because it envolves so few elements and still hard as fuck XD Good one
Warau 11 Jan, 2016 @ 5:45pm
Why is this so hard...out of every other ones I've done
jandlml 10 Jan, 2016 @ 1:48pm

thompson004 10 Jan, 2016 @ 1:43pm

z34chris 10 Jan, 2016 @ 9:49am
solved it! easy test chamber but very deceptive
Arthy 9 Jan, 2016 @ 1:27pm
Nice, but a bit difficult. But it took me just 5 minutes...
gigaplatscher 9 Jan, 2016 @ 7:37am
okay fck, was about to give up when i suddenly solved it, but cant tell how :o nice level, took me about one hour :D
Demon Arisen  [author] 9 Jan, 2016 @ 7:30am
Thanks for all the lovely comments everyone! :p2chell: I can't believe this test became so popular, I only made it to be an easy little puzzle! Those of you who are stuck, try getting the cube into the funnel emitter while keeping one of your portals on the side of the room where the exit is [spoiler/]
Lucky Luciano 9 Jan, 2016 @ 12:18am
well i feel like an idiot. great test through!

NICE MAP:steammocking:
dcook 6 Jan, 2016 @ 2:18am
nice map... you can eliminate the throwing issue by adding grate barriers. :-)
zigzagtenniscoe 5 Jan, 2016 @ 5:21pm
Very nice map. Quite easy, yet I wasn't able to throw the cube into the funnel so it took me a few seconds to realize that you had to get a portal in line with the cube, go back to the first side and use the reversed funnel to bring it back over, than go back and portal the cube through to your side in the funnel bringing it to the exit door button . Easy at first glance, but it requires a little bit of extra thinking to bring the cube back to the exit button. Great map, great job, and can't wait to see what your first puzzle is for 2016! :D
dven1 4 Jan, 2016 @ 2:22pm
I solved this as intended. Of course, I can't throw a cube to save my soul so I had little choice. (If someone would point me to a tutorial on that it would be appreciated.) Very nice map, compact yet requiring some logical thinking to execute the solution. Very good job!
