Just have projectors on the body with which to project the wings off of.
.1 Build blueprint 1.
.2 Blueprint 1 - the body of the x-wing now has 4 projectors, each with a wing blueprint preloaded on them. Power blueprint 1 and now the projectors pop the wing projections into place.
But it's still Early Access after 3 years, but it improves well... in some aspects...

The only mods I usually use are a speed mod, and skyboxes, that are not affecting the overall building... you know what I mean
If you use a speed mod, don't be suprised if the wings broke off above 200 m/s. The rotors are so weak :/
KiRyuu: At the moment I am working on this Tatooine home/base, but unfortunatelly I have some work to do, but as life gives me some freetime, I will go on with this Tatooine thing. I'll probably extend this into a rebel base(maybe you would like that one, I have a GR-75, that will be on the workshop, maybe in the weekend :D), and I was planning to create a Mos Eisley themed town/spaceport
