How do u use it

Can someone please hep me? Steam staff wants nothing to do with me but i need help.everytime i load the game it automatically selects a config that i dont want. how do i set this as default config? Please someone help me. Reddit wont let me ask my question because it says im breaking the rules this is ridiculous rn. I have the configs i want but it automatically sets to wasd mouse.

Sadly this hasn't been working for me too. Combat and navigating menus is a nightmare. I'm also using an xb1 controller so that may have something to do with it. I still have to reach for the mouse when selecting anything...

This doesn't seem to work very well at all. I am using an xb1 controller and most of the mapping doesn't work and still requires me to use my mouse for more than half of the inputs. I have been spending hours to try to figure this out and it's frustrating. The companion shows that the controller has limited function for the xb1 controller and none with a switch pro controller. However, using the steam compatibility with the in game key binds works better than this does.

How do you do combat with the controller? I can't figure it out, somebody please help

Works for me so far, haven't tested all the controlls yet. Only problem I have atm is that if I have my second monitor on I accidentally tab out all the time.

I can't get this to work in game at all. It works for everything else, but in kotor the controls just don't do anything. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

How do I go about getting my $ back for a purchase that does not do what I purchased it to do?

I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong. I downloaded Controller Companion, subscribed, made sure mouse look was active and controls were default and started the game but there was no way to use the controller. I feel like I must be missing something obvious. Thanks in advance for any help.

My apologies, this works, I just didnt know how to enable controller companion profiles. (you have to open the settings tab and refresh workshop profiles - settings tab can be found at the very bottom right of windows screen)

I've got in-game configs set to default, and most of the controls are not matching what you show here. It makes me hold A to run. Right stick does nothing, and left stick moves the camera. LB isn't pause. Is there a reason my controls are screwed up like stephaniehand18?

is it just me that can't use this correctly ?

I cannot cycle through my abilities ? lets say i enter a fight it automatically says critical hit ability, But theres no way to cycle through the abilities to select lets say sneak attack, or am i missing something ?

So, this works for the most part, but I have to keep the mouse cursor onscreen for combat powers. And sometimes, movement is completely disabled after combat.

i have to reset the game after almost every combat because the forward and reverse motion settings stop working

@paul_oldfield I haven't played in a long while, but i think you have to change it in the menus?

@VermiciousKnid1 are you using an xbox 360 controller? and did you make sure to keep the game controls as default?

I have subscribed to this and restarted controller companion several times but I still don't see it im my profiles, I'm sure I'm doing some small stupid thing wrong but can't for life of me figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can't find anyway to change them - means I'm royally stuffed when I find myself with a load of Antidotes and can't choose which Jedi power to use for Bastila. Thanks in advance!

@stephaniehand18 - hey umm you don't have to hold the a button to run. Make sure your in-game configs are set to default

Am I doing something wrong or do you still have to hold the a button to run? Also, I feel like not all of these controls are working for me... (this is my first time using controller companion fyi)

zjm68 - It downloads automatically as soon as you subscribe, just restart controller companion if you don't see it in the profiles list.

How do I download. I subscribed, but, there is no download link.

BrentacoN - is it not working at all? Or is the profile not working? Be aware that controlller companion disables the controller by default when going into full screen. (I believe I'm remembering this correctly, I'm fairly new to controller companion)

@Numerius Asinius - you need to hold the select button

Thank you for making this profile. How does one activate the secondary bindings? The primary bindings work, but I'm not sure how to switch over to the secondary bindings.

Thank God I bought controller companion. Now I can can play SWKOTOR without being forced to use that terribad keyboard and mouse from my couch. My chiropractor thanks you, because I'm no longer tied to a computer desk just to play a game.

@PachyWack turn off any other gamepad options in game, otherwise I have no idea.

Ok, I can't for the life of me get it to work. Controller Companion works in the game, BUT the profile doesn't. Example: Whenever it tells me to type my name, hitting the "Y" button types in the letter Y and so on with other controls. I opened in Big-Picture & did the mouse look, but still nothing.

@Scottyusceaser first off, you need the controller companion program, then all you do is subscribe to this and it will automatically download the profile to the program
