Really great map, plenty of space to build on and great connections. My only issue is that cruise ships clip the bridge to the right of the starting tile but easily fixed with the moveit mod once you have that tile :)

Responding to TheNerdWhoPlaysGames: No, the map isnt based off any real life places, although I assume it is based on the coastal areas of the Netherlands, especially Zeeland and the Waddeneilanden. Cool map, great to build on, but looking from a realistic perspective, it really makes no sense and could never exist in real life. The mountain, assuming it could resemble an old dune that eventually became a green hill, could never be in such a location, same with all the other hills. Another assumption that could be made that it is a moraine or glacial basin, which exists in some areas in the Netherlands too (however not in any coastal areas). It would sort of be geologically realistic, because we could assume the rivers carved their way out in the hills.

Does anyone know where this map is based off of, if it is based off of somewhere?

Everytime I build on this map I end up with a weird gltich where the crime rate spikes up and down from 10 to over 200. I haven't been able to replicate this with any other map. Anyone experience this? Any ideas? It's a beautiful map and I a bit sad I can't keep going with it.

same issue i built from the starter square then i noticed i was still 0 people. Then noticed that the highway was empty. Deleted a few of the connections on the other highways to test the highway. it seems fine but no one seems to be moving in ever.
