Fighting Draugr in the dark you either sacrifice off-hand to hold a torch or stay in the dark and aim for the eyes.
Brilliant, couldn't be happier with this mod.
i'm using the double torch radious mod and i still cannot even see where the hell im going XD
I played Skyrim on PS3 about 3 years ago and during the Steam Summer Sale at the time I saw Skyrim on sale and just out of curiousity wanted to check the kinds of mods people use.
When I saw this mod that makes the game have actual light sources and darkness I was blown away. Sold my PS3 copy of Skyrim and played on my old laptop.
I have since upgraded my PC to a high end one and still continue to use this amazing mod.
Honestly, nothing beats it. Out of all the lighting overhaul mods out there this one is the most simplistic and straightforword with the best results.
I couldn't even bare to use Climates of Tamriel because of how it messed with lighting and doesn't use actual light sources like this mod.
I love this mod and I really appreciate you making it. Thanks!
such a small difference makes the game way better
But is it compatible with COT?
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesnt COT have a light setting as well? If so I might have to give up this Mod if I install COT
effects like flaming oil and wall of flames (possibly other magical effects that stand out in the darkness too) giving off light
Including locations introduced by the DLCs (I've only tested the Soul Cairn and Castle Volkihar Undercroft but seeing as you haven't mentioned DLCs here I'm guessing you haven't done this mod for any of them)
