for some reson the bone merger tool stopped working on these models and there wepons, am I mussing somthing or is it just a bug, either way plz help/fix

these are fantastic. do you plan on doing high quality models of other toa or villains? i know the heroes piraka are on your workshop, but have you maybe considered doing custom models of them as well? or maybe even the toa nuva

And since they don't, why are there left-hand and right-hand versions of the claws and hooks?

Ah, well for the first one, darn. I do hope plans to do so will arise one day only for the fact it would be fantastic to have models for the matoran (Perhaps even the Turaga) to match the toa in appearance more closely, rather than the ones we currently have available. However, I do understand.

for the second, I had assumed that with the BYOM Toa limbs, though I was thinking other parts, along with those. Such as, for example, technic beams much like those used for the Turaga torsos, or those angled Technic connectors used for their limbs, and the sort. It could be useful for multiple purposes, such as make-shift creating a part that isn't available, or making Rahi. There are some ways to make few Rahi for now, though I still think the options would be amazing.

I'm only asking/offering ideas, though I'm by no means saying to do so. I understand, and respect the answers you've given, though. Thank you for the response.

@Grampa Walker, Well, first one, no actually, I don't have plans to do the Matoran (I don't think I lack the parts, but, I don't have plans). Second one, well, BYOM technically IS loose parts, just that they're static props and can be bonemerged onto a template body mesh. However, that wouldn't exactly stop people from just posing the static props into whatever they'd like, just that it wouldn't be a ragdoll, obviously, and would take a lot of time to pose, etc.

Pardon me, Merry Dr., I apologize for the bother, though I wished to inquire something. Two things, in fact, if I may.

The first question would be if you intend to make the matoran. Be it 2001, 2003, or both. Have you any plans to do so, or do you lack models of the parts for such?

Secondly, have you any intention of making a model pack of assorted Bionicle parts as loose props which can be used for making models and scenes? Not as the BYOM you've mentioned in the past, but just props people could form into assorted shapes to resemble a bionicle which hasn't an existing model in Gmod, or similar.

I have a feeling the second question may be a definite "no" due to the concern you've mentioned in the past about not wanting your hard work stolen, though I felt I'd still ask just to be certain.

@The Merry Dr. Yes.. so uh, the reason why I ask is because I actually had a problem with malware seeping into my drive, so I performed a system restore- for that reason, I was wondering if you actually had the files on hand, because I am much more trusting of a Steam-user than a rando malicious site. @PizzaTime! Ahh I see, it's fine then as long as they're not redistributed, go ahead and use them for your personal project.

(Google how to unpack the gma, decompile models, and then use VTFEdit to export the textures as tga [I'm not going to state it all here how to do those stuff, just in case someone else gets any bright ideas].

You can just use ragdoll mover tool and only use it on the ball joints if you dont want to have the needs and elbow bending... -_-

@Ethanator, now, this is the reason I didn't want to add them to begin with, I mean, articulation in the legs etc, I wanted them to be authentic. But since people requested articulation for posing reasons, I decided to add it. I don't think it's highly necessary adding a version without the articulation, because, it's not hard to pose them "authentically" as if they didn't have articulation.

I'm not saying, that, oh, now I should make these pms, it's all really a matter of trying to see if it'll even remotely work (because the Proportion Trick isn't flawless). I tried making Ekimu a Pm with the Trick, it sort of worked, but, he had problems that I couldn't fix, obviously I never released him because of those problems.

It's really hard to explain, these are high poly models, meaning bone weighting is much harder, and a pain to get right. Moving all the bones to fit a default playermodel will stretch the model, mess it up, and stuff, like this:

The QnA is old though, because back then, I didn't know how to do the Proportion Trick (which means with these models, they can be pms without stretching anything). I do know how to do it now though, and a better way of weighting (using gradients) so it won't be a pain because the models are highpoly.

its a good addon, just a suggestion, The battle poses would be better if there was bones in the chest part of the models,

when i say eye posing i mean like.. more along the lines of changing the way their eyes look to convey emotions, like neutral being the default state they come in, and then there would be angry eyes, sad eyes etc. i hope you understand what i'm trying to say, and i really don't mean to come off as nitpicky

Golden masks I understand plenty, but do you mean eyeposing like they are in the movies? That's something I've at least tried experimenting with the Glatorians, yet I've forgotten all about it and never fully achieved it.
