I have wheels inside the rotors that give them more or less speed if you press X or Z which therefore adjusts its altitude.
All my creations work without mods if nothing else is stated in the description. :)
let me know :D
I sure could
PBP2, Editor+
Ok, thanks.
It's featured in a video by Draegast, link in the description :)
I guess. Starting a discussion topic of this in my group.
Ok, I think I got something here. I've just made 2 rotors that are very stable. Then I copied them with editor+ and tested tthem. So, although the fact that they are absolutely the same, the copied one leans to one of its sides.
This seems to prove that propellers are somehow bugged.
Ofc people can, but you obviously can't achieve the same things without mods. It's a sandbox game with restrictions so mods to remove the restrictions may be nessecary to reach its full potential.
I don't FULLY understand the aerodynamixs of this game, but I have a hunch on how to arrange the rotors to give the machine better stability.
If you're referring to the rotors on my guide, I can't guarantee that they're a complete solution for making an autostabilizing aircraft.
What I DO know is:
1. Rotors that are tilted more vertically will make the machine stabilize when falling.
2. a double stacked rotor counters the generated torque of itself and make the machine more stable in general.
3. a \/ shaped formation is more auto stablizing than an /\ shaped formation of the rotors.
The rest is just testing, over and over again.
Also, this is not an autostabilizing copter. Draegast claimed that it was, but it isn't.
I need to ask you if you fully understand how propellers phishycs works in this game.
I'm asking this becasuse I see that you didn't rotate them in order to turn them into auto-stabilizing rotors on this machine and I'm having problems trying to make something quite similar to my alien crane but I just can't manage to make it as stable as I want.
That makes me thing that you tried to do auto-stabilizing rotors but they didn't work for an unknown reason on this machine.
No need for Yaw, just Roll and Pitch at the same time. I couldn't make a Yaw system without ruining the design, but it's not nessecary for flying.
It is, but it has strong rotors
Ofc it does, it's a helicopter. Read the description.
