Work with the new patch 2.8.3?
Imortis317 15 May, 2018 @ 8:20pm
Nice which is a realistic option, but most wouldn't due it since it would surely lead to their excommunication from the church.

Updated for latest patch.

Just a note: Conclave DLC ruined game for me thus I will be staying on the old, 2.4.5. version. That means I won't be updating any of my mods until further notice. All mods work on 2.4.5. version.

Viscount Danku  [author] 17 Jan, 2016 @ 3:37pm
Yes

Is this compatible with ck2+?
Viscount Danku  [author] 15 Jan, 2016 @ 12:27pm
crusaderkings2, Northumbria was invaded by Scotland numerous times and most of the times Scotland either had a strong claims for it or Northnumbria was just a battleground during larger-scale conflicts of Scotland vs. England. If you are talking about 100 years war or William's the Conqueror invasion of England when he indeed took quite a lot of lands with him from France, all those conflicts had specific reasons and everything was "justified" in eyes of society back then.
King Harkinian 15 Jan, 2016 @ 12:08pm
Scotland invaded Northumbria all the time. Major wars, maybe, but this is only small territorial wars. England took half of France too, and I am fairly sure that didn't start riots.
Viscount Danku  [author] 14 Jan, 2016 @ 1:28pm
crusaderkings2,
Do you actually understand that if we are talking about historical accuracy here attacking another christian without any reason would probably mean an excommunication from the church with riots all over your country and possible wars with other catholic countries who are more loyal to the Pope or just zealous?
King Harkinian 14 Jan, 2016 @ 1:10pm
600 piety...for one county? Ouch. That seems a little excessive. I would reduce that somewhat.
Viscount Danku  [author] 14 Jan, 2016 @ 10:22am
I'll add it a bit later.
Exelsiar 14 Jan, 2016 @ 8:21am
Oh now that would be interesting to see, I always end up finding shattered to be too easy because most AI are unable to expand properly.
grug 12 Jan, 2016 @ 10:11pm
seconded
:wizard:
Peter Griffin 12 Jan, 2016 @ 11:16am
hey major, could you upload a version of this mod without penalties so the AI in shattered world goes crazy with expanding? Would be really nice to see something like that for SW
Viscount Danku  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 11:16am
Good then, thank you for an info!
norbert (norbert z czarnolasu) 12 Jan, 2016 @ 11:15am
It works.
Viscount Danku  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 10:11am
I don't know, check it, report back your results.
norbert (norbert z czarnolasu) 12 Jan, 2016 @ 7:12am
Does it work with CK2 Plus mod???
Viscount Danku  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 5:33am

ICA_Dankdemon 10 Jan, 2016 @ 10:52am
(since you no longer need to fabricate countless claims half of your live) well with only 2.50 piety a month with a loss of 500 piety a county (if winning) would mean that it would take 200 month to declare the next war that is 16.5 years so it is kind of better. still like the consept though and i never get to the late game so i don't how much you get around that, but the wait is kind of a let down.
still great though
Mario 10 Jan, 2016 @ 7:19am
this is what all ck2 players have been waiting for ever since it came out
Fazerdaze 9 Jan, 2016 @ 8:48pm
Vou compártilhar e favoritar, só pq é BR, depois dou uma testada no mod.
Olorin 9 Jan, 2016 @ 11:54am
Sounds good
Viscount Danku  [author] 9 Jan, 2016 @ 7:01am
Technically defender ain't pious in any way - it's an attacker who violates Pope's will and Bible by attacking another christian without any reason. That's why attacker loses piety after declaring a war (people are surprised), after winning (people are outraged, but winners aren't judged), attacker loses both prestige and piety even if there is a White Peace ( prestige for not being able to press his claims, piety because now both church and other lords can criticize aggressor in public for his disrespect for Church laws) and loses massive amount of piety and prestige in case of defeat (since practically any baron knows that this particular guy doesn't respect church but has more bark than bite) and pays a lot of money in war reparations because there was no reason for war, and obviously, defender demands more for this waste of human resourses.
Broken Sky 9 Jan, 2016 @ 6:25am
Sorry I just realised I wasn't clear in what I meant. I don't think that you ought to lose more piety for losing than for winning. I wouldn't have any second piety loss for white peace, and a smaller one for losing outright? Say -300 for wining, -0 for peace out, -150 for losing (plus prestige and money costs). Maybe a small (50?) piety boost for winning as defender.?
Viscount Danku  [author] 9 Jan, 2016 @ 5:20am
Broken Sky,
You will lose 700 piety 600 prestige and get -25 opinion with all characters in the game, isn't that more than enought for the lost war over one county?
Broken Sky 9 Jan, 2016 @ 5:11am
Not sure if there ought to be more piety loss for losing?
Viscount Danku  [author] 9 Jan, 2016 @ 3:56am
Mod updated, Piety loss and General Opinion fine were significantly increased.
Panzrim 9 Jan, 2016 @ 1:47am
100 piety is not enough.
You should reduce the reparation cost but increase the piety cost for the declaration of war.
Or add other costs.
It should still make sense to fabricate a claim.
Sry for my english xD
titanbirds 8 Jan, 2016 @ 8:32pm
Ty, I hate it that I cant declare war when I want
Monsigeur Capet 8 Jan, 2016 @ 8:02pm
but sounds nice! might try it :)
Monsigeur Capet 8 Jan, 2016 @ 8:01pm
100 piety is nothing tbh
Sheep Sheepington 8 Jan, 2016 @ 1:47pm
I see. It could still be very problematic if rulers use this heavily
Viscount Danku  [author] 8 Jan, 2016 @ 1:45pm
They will use it with the same frequancy as pagans and muslims do. I haven't changed any AI modifiers. I guess it will be even more rare since not many characters will be able to throw away 100 piety easily. (muslims need only 50 and conquest wars are quite rare among them).
Sheep Sheepington 8 Jan, 2016 @ 1:37pm
Does the AI use this heavily? This could be problematic if they do.
Exelsiar 8 Jan, 2016 @ 2:40am
Excellent, thank yee kindly :D
Viscount Danku  [author] 8 Jan, 2016 @ 2:38am
Of course
Exelsiar 7 Jan, 2016 @ 8:18pm
Question, does the AI get access to this too?
