Cool map, I would say medium difficulty

Nice puzzle! I enjoyed the thorough use of the different 'types' of portal surfaces.
Narkodes 29 Jun, 2020 @ 2:57pm
I played this map when it came out and back then, it was very challenging for me. I replayed it today and it wasn't that hard, but still an excellent puzzle. So adorable!

Fun fact: It was the first map that I can remember, whcih used the cube's oscillation. Back in the day, a friend called it "the RectorRocks-move" because of this map. And believe it or not, I'll keep it in mind with this name forever. Thanks for creating!

This is still a brilliant puzzle. I even read my own spoiler from 3 years ago and was still stuck for awhile.

Nice puzzle, same as @Teo. Thanks!
Teo 15 Jul, 2019 @ 7:12pm
Excellent puzzle, that double cube juggle was the only part that really had me stuck. Clever ending sequence

Aha, that was interesting.
Mikeastro 31 Aug, 2018 @ 2:22am
Excellent - I actually solved this one quite quickly, I'd say 20 minutes, but I liked it a lot!
zeo1337 19 Apr, 2018 @ 5:46pm
Lol i solved it, but I took two hard and unnessecary steps. I used the inertia of the box falling from the dropper to fall through floor portals linked to the end and knock the companion cube off the button so I would be able to drop both boxes through the floor. Later I realized this was a mistake, so I tossed the companion cube back through the floor portals, out of the wall onto the button lol.

Nice weaving ! It seemed simple at first glance, but the first glance was not enought ;)
Fumbly Bumbly 31 Mar, 2017 @ 1:47am
Excellent! That really had me thinking! The final step was superb; it had that perfect 'aha!' moment. Huge thumbs up and added to my favourites.

This was really great. First I got stumped trying to solve it. Then I took a break, came back and suddenly discovered the solution. Realy neat, and makes you think twice.
qrioso 11 Mar, 2017 @ 1:10am
Very clever and elegant. Favorite one. Thanks for mapping

Reminds me of that map "Control" by goat~
bullfrog 23 Jan, 2017 @ 2:46am
I tried this for the 1st time a few weeks ago and failed/gave up. I don't know how many times I've come back to it since then, but I finally cracked it by mistake (I shot a portal into the exit room floor as opposed to the floor and shouted c**p, then thought 'hold on a minute' :steamfacepalm:) After that I pressed F6 and worked through the rest of it in about 30 minutes:steamhappy: Thank you (I think!) and favorited

What are you talking about?
TG 21 Jan, 2017 @ 6:44am
I just now noticed that your profile pic is Gary Barlow and this chamber is his band...

LB being stuck in this map made me slightly scared, but once I figured it out, it was quite simple actually. Thanks for making, I really enjoyed this one!

I got stuck on this one during the stream - https://youtu.be/1Ta-FSceAFE?t=1h40m55s - I'll play it again in a separate video when I'm not so distracted by chat.

greykarel 21 Jan, 2016 @ 10:00am
Nice challenge. Thank you.
trkeisers 19 Jan, 2016 @ 6:53am
Thank you very much, RectorRocks. One little thing I forgot: Let the cube fall through the floor via the exit room in the bridge room. Great chamber!
Rector  [author] 19 Jan, 2016 @ 4:29am
@trkeisers It's in the screenshots scroller thing. The first one, beside the first screenshot.
trkeisers 18 Jan, 2016 @ 9:25am
Where can I find the walkthrough?
jandlml 16 Jan, 2016 @ 4:06pm

Rector  [author] 16 Jan, 2016 @ 8:26am

Good luck!

@jandlml Thanks for playing! :smileyface:
jgaultney 16 Jan, 2016 @ 7:47am
After several days of beating my head against this one, I finally peeked at the video. :steamsad:
I had all of the solution except how to swap the cubes while KEEPING a portal in the
exit room. :steamfacepalm:
I sometimes have trouble seeing things that are right in
front of me. :steammocking: Thumbs up and favorited!
dven1 16 Jan, 2016 @ 3:38am
I had to stop before my brains spilled out but I'll get back to it today. Thanks for sticking with my pathetic pleas for help!
jandlml 15 Jan, 2016 @ 11:19pm
great map. i admit ihad to peak at the walkthru. didnt think of bouncing the cube
Rector  [author] 15 Jan, 2016 @ 7:35pm
@dven1 Yes, you got the right idea! Once you swapped the cubes, the solution is pretty obvious since you have already thought of killing the wc and shooting a portal underneath it and another in the exit room. Remember that bridges can go through fizzlers. So try to keep your portal in the exit room at all times. The rest is simple after you're able to get outside with both cubes on the two buttons (not the exit door's) with one portal in the exit room.

@Polux Thanks for playing Polux! :steamhappy:
dven1 15 Jan, 2016 @ 4:34pm
@RR: I haven't watched yet, but know that I've already thought ahead to being able to kill the wc so one falls through a portal under the dropper to the other side or directly into the exit room. (after swapping cubes, perhaps) I just can't get to the point where I need to do that. I've been in the exit room and even been outside with a portal in the exit room and one on the apron wall. If I could just get up on that lightbridge without losing my exit room portal! I feel like I'm *so* close that I hate to watch the video! I'm going to re-load it and try again. I saw this damn map in my dreams! RR, YOU REALLY SUCK!!! ; )
Polux 15 Jan, 2016 @ 2:26pm
Nice little puzzle with few elements, good job.
Rector  [author] 15 Jan, 2016 @ 4:47am
You can do it, dven1! Keep trying! It's quite easy to circumvent the fizzler. All you need to take note of is the white floor and respawning of the cube .

I just put up the walkthrough (shown is the old version, v1.0, so the fizzler isn't there but take it as if it's there :P), hopefully it helped you! (Try not to watch it finish, watch past the part where you got stuck and let yourself get the satisfactory feeling)

Cheers!
dven1 15 Jan, 2016 @ 4:35am
RR, I tried the other map without the extra fizzler and got stuck, so I loaded this one and I can't even *start* with that fizzler there. I guess I'll have to wait for a video. I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but I don't know what.
Rector  [author] 14 Jan, 2016 @ 4:24am
@DrFauli Thank you DrFauli! I favorited it and will look back to it if I ever experienced problems again

@| \_/ () Thanks! Yeah, it's a small change but it was what I wanted the solution to be, so I had to update it :P That's the disappointing part, really (mess up and you have to restart). Thanks for retrying! I appreciate it!

@GuruMeditation Thank you Guru! Thanks for your favorite too :steamhappy:

@dire.fcs Thanks for retrying! Can't wait to try your map
dire.fcs 13 Jan, 2016 @ 10:20pm
Ok, played again and this version introduced a fizzler that skipped one or two steps in the earlier version; also this map inspired a little bit to make a map that will be posted soon.
GuruMeditation 13 Jan, 2016 @ 12:40pm
Excellent puzzle!
No ninja moves or tricks, just think with portals!
Thanks :)
| \_/ () 13 Jan, 2016 @ 10:39am
The fizzler does bring an additional challenge to the puzzle but it's overall the same. Unlike in the first map though, I screwed up when shooting a portal under the dropper the first time and had to do it again. That means I'm running out of things to write about a map I already commented on.

Thumbs up!

I am just writing a comment to give you a working solution on the 'new URL problem':

There are a few things you have to do in the right order, so it can work. But it will work. =)
