It's the link data between dwellings and structures you need to add - 1 line for every upgrade/dwelling combination.

@Gloweye, do you happen to remember where I can find whatever I need to edit to do this? (I want to allow some mod-added MCU's to be built at dwellings.) I'm new to this and I've just been poking around resource packs for an hour with no luck.

the problem is that I don't know how to modify and to make matters worse I tried to look for instructions on how to modify and I didn't find any decent instructions

Because I don't care about mods I never played with and never will play with.

And it's not that hard to do it yourself. All you need is a single link entry for dwelling and structure.

what I'm trying to say is if you can, please make the other mystical city upgrades that aren't available in Archor Revenant Dwelling become available to match the Chivalrous Intentions mod as this mod adds new units of all types, including dwelling units such as archor revenants, giants, fey, dragons and so on

It's not really sensible to make a version of this mod for every other mod in existence.

it's because of Chivalrous Intentions, a mod that adds new units, including new dwelling units, and with this mod you get pikeman in archor dwelling

All upgrades that'd actually have an impact, are possible. But it's not useful to have, say, Pillar of the Stylites there, because there's no pikeman to be built.

About Archor Revenant Dwelling the only Mystical City Upgrades that are available to build are: Altar of Bound Souls, Blood Altar, Slaughter Pits, Crypt of Unlife and Arcane Catalyst. Can you please make the other Mystical City Upgrades that are not available become available?

With vanilla races and sites, it should work fine on the Shadow layer. New sites/races would need a seperate file, but that wouldn't need to be dependent on this one.

That literally shouldn't be possible AFAIK. Are you sure A) The mod is enabled in your launcher and B) That dwelling actually has a use for that MCU ?

Doesn't appear that it's compatible with the mods I use sadly. Empire Building is probably the culprit, as it tweaks the mythic locations. I was sort of hoping it'd at least work with the vanilla upgrades.

It's not hard tho. You could make it yourself. I build this mod literally in 5 minutes, tested for ten, and uploaded it. And I stared at loading screens for 10 minutes. (mostly mod editor)

What's the upgrade(s) it adds ?

Hi poman.rolanski, I think that mod only works with vanilla mystic city upgrades. But maybe if you ask the mod author he will be so kind to make an extension covering the mystic city dwellings from my mod.

That's accurate, that will require a compatibility patch. Such a patch would need to be dependent on that mod.

(if it weren't required, i'd just implement it.)

It doesn't seem to enable upgrades from "the old man and the sea". Wanted to build a coral shield thingy on archon dwelling.

It'd seem really hard to do that, cause this mod doesn't actually change anything. All it does is add new lines that link the upgrades to the dwellings.

It gotta be your install. I just checked it, and with just this mod active and nothing else, it's available.

Nice mod - but i think i found a small bug. It seems to make Ruins not unlock the Pillar of the Stylite building for cities any more

Thanks for a nice mod. It might need to be updated for version 1.8: Citing Hiliadan from Triumph´s forum: "For other mods with issues, you probably need to contact their authors so that they do a small edit in their mod to say to the game that the mod works with v1.8 (it’s a quick edit, very simple)."

Based on the mod name I thought this added new upgrades. Wasn't until I randomly browsed it and read the description I realized how handy this thing is. Subbed and favourited.

Ah yes, no, those won't be in there.

To me, compatibility basically means asking the question: Does any mod prevent the other from functioning.

As for doing the same to Empire Building mod, there's no reason why such a patch would need to edit this mod. Can just add the upgrades to the dwellings again.

You haven't mentioned compatability anywhere. I just figured that the new mystical city upgrades added by the Empire Building mod would not be included in the changes brought about by this mod.

This mod works well with Black Market Dwellings by CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS. Great idea glad to add this to my AoW3 mod collection nice work :stein:

Because dwellings can't build city walls, so regenerate walls doesn't do anything. Also, dwellings can't build machines.

Quite possible. Sanctums and Libraries are quite common, and Ziggurats still happen close to dwellings.

BTW, the mod works if you install it mid-game. Or were you playing MP?

Well I just remembered this issue because I had an Archon dwelling with a MCU that I couldn't use :(. I think it was the support MCU?

and honestly - it's pretty easy. As in...30 minutes work? Including the upload? seeing as 250 people downloading it, that's a lot of use for such a little bit of work.
