The setting is medievil times... The gods make their presence known walking the earth among the mortals, demanding sacrifices, and rewarding all of those who are loyal and do their bidding. Choose a Realm, Set up a shop. ( If you choose to be a trader, the gods will assist you in filling your store with goods that are hard to obtain) Check the rules page to brush up on server etiquette! Hidden loot chests, a commerce system, plagues, bountiful rewards, and so much more! there are 5 realms with a god to represent each one.. Each realm will have a king to be crowned around week 2 based on loyalty to the god of that specific realm.
1: Both the Rare and Normal Materials stalls contain chitin at the same price.
2: In the Rare Materials shop, Rare Mushroom and Rare Flowers are listed with the same price (15 item per 2 knot) but the Rare Flower recipe only gives one item.
-As far as the client side freezes, unfortunately yes that was a direct result of how the craft function is implemented and WildCard has ignored any of my feedback regarding the issue as normal, but I am going to be remaking every shop in the long run to hopefully reduce this lag anymore. I'm curious when you would experience the lag though since i could obtain close to 30k of any material at once before I would experience it and I was on a standard home desktop that could barelyrun the game.
-Lastly the currency.... I'm not sure what you were doing but my mod uses "knots" which are just gold coins like yours.
- Weapon stand disappearing after server restart
- the old custom shop gets closed bug as soon as one is leaving the rendering range
- Sadly i never tested your Windmill and Watermill -> at that time i had no interest in them ^^
- Your shops caused small client side freezes when i sold lot of stuff very fast -> but this has something to do with wildcards crafting and replication logic
- And i wanted my own prices for my servers and yours were fixed ^^
- i wanted some kind of "gold" currency instead of stone xD
Since this mod and the shopping mod from Dave were the main inspiration for creating my mod series i feel like giving you at least a bit feedback ;)
@Wanted514, I absolutely agree I was very lazy with the description and more focused on change notes. I will be sure to rewrite a more thorough description that actual gives insight to the utility of the mod. To answer some questions right off yes it has a custom currency and it has only non fertilized eggs up until the galli I believe becuase i got sidetracked from keeping that update some time ago. The eggs were only meant to suppliment kibble farming without simply offering completed kibble (reduce server load from egg farms)
It would be amazing id the workhop automatically added a month timer with a trusted or approval visible tag so you could follow up with developr activity, but i have no control over that, best i can do is try to update via my description / discussions / comments. I've also considered staring a discord for my mod work but thats just another blackholeto suck up my time.
As far as placable stall that you can fill with modded items that is a different ball game, I have my player stall that is basically the same exact thing Impulse added to his capitalism (I had started mine first and he completed what i didnt, props to him) but it is unfinished and would require you to actually make the items in order to sell them using the stall, but that would just provide more realistic gameplay IMO.
As always the goal is for bug free gameplay and ease of use is my top concern but thats not possible unless i get feedback from what issues may come up with others that i didnt come across or how others intend on using the content.
I appreciate the interest in my content any and all feedback is very helpful in my development and ability to cater to your needs.
-If you don't mind me asking what is it thats such a pain about the capitalism series and ease of use other than the modular system?
As well as all the regular shps like you have in this mod, again where id be able to edit prices based on my servers rates.
Ease of use and well documented on the description. Bug free or as close to.
Capitalism doesn't really offer that and it's a bummer to setup. Full respect to the author regardless.
Does it have a currency? WHat kind of Eggs?
Is it even working? There should be an approved sticker on every mod that you can show if your active on it or not. I just spent a few hours wasting time on dead mods that dont work or work halfway after wasting so much time setting it up.
For now we're mostly using it as a decoration mod because most features are not working (water mill / wheel for example).
It would be awesome if you keep it alive and proceed with the development.
