the skinneyer tires were better on looks and were prototypically accurate.
You aren't alone, I got flamed out of another mods forum because I said I didn't like blasting through everything so easily. I want a challenge, but it seems we are the minority.
I unsubscribed from all of SIDs mods because they are for literal babies who don't know how to offroad. The game is already so much easier than mudding in real life. You said 'usability' is a concern. I'm concerned with failing to find 4 wd and diff lockable vehicles that can get stuck. Workshop is demonstrating a bad trend. I use the shitty cars when I play because without exception 9/10 vehicles are stupid broken beyond belief, but apparently I'm one of the few that don't want an easy time of things running around in Godmode with all weapons.
This jeep isn't that far out in that regard. A tiny little crippling will make this thing a blast to romp around in, but I'll keep the subscription for the quality of the addons you've done alone. Thanks again for your time and effort!
This mod will be undergoing some changes, and hopefully getting a 'custom' load(with actual load points) soon, so keep your eye open for updates!
1) Improve textures. Everything is flat and lacks shading or details.
2) Suspension should be lowered to something more stock looking? It looks a little too high right now.
3) Too much traction. It needs to struggle a bit more. Patches change things though.
The addons are fantastic. It's rough around the edges, but it's pretty good already. Keep your eye on this one!
I noticed that the stock wheels tend to be pretty good(it can't cross the river on Coast very well it tends to slip and gets stuck)
Few extra tidbits
1-It needs a hair more durability or something, unless I haven't learned how to drive it,it's a bit goofy. But I love the bouncyness.
2-With the trailer,it seems like it has issues getting up to a decent speed.
3-bigger tires seem to be worse than the original tires. I'm not sure if it;s geared for the normal wheels but it seems to slow down.
4- It's awesomely bouncy :D but so light as I pointed out earlier.
5-It doesn't seems to take damage well, most light bumps seem to do a ton of damage.
I noticed the suspension isn't animated, and the textures don't fit the game too well. But so far I really enjoy this little guy :) Just needs the driver and it will be great.
and personally I don't like 6 gears...
Then, no, I do not see them either
is this a bug on my side or yours?
