That's a great mod, thanks for it. I just spotted an error (I think): Compostela should be spelled with one "l", not two. I wonder if there's an event in 813 related to the discovery of the Sant Iago tomb.

great mod indeed. @#GripRengöringsMedlen i happen to be from Denmark myself and Danmörk is correct, its old norse. @ChRoN1KbLuNt seaxna rice is correct, its old english. Do research before you post, it takes 5 minutes max.

Great mod my friend! :steamhappy:

Wessex is the modern name for the kingdom. The Anglo-Saxons called it Westseaxna rice.
ChRoN1KbLuNt 2 Aug, 2016 @ 11:38am
Mate Wessex would just be Wessex not what you put...Wessex was West Saxon in Olde English

You do know that this is set in the 8th century, right? Back when modern Scandinavian languages didn't exist. In Old Norse, Denmark is Danmörk.

Rename Danmörk to Danemark, i happen to be a man from the great north myself and danmörk is just wrong. PLEASE for the realism

@ Eldgrim You can use a mod manager and change the load order to put Authentic/Latin Faction Names after this mod. Or open the mod pack with the pack manager and delete the part with the faction names :)

Would it be possible to make a version with only the settlement names. I like to use Authentic/Latin Faction Names, and it conflicts with this mod.

@ CRPoV on Windows, use alt key characters. For example, to get ð, press alt+0240, for þ alt+0254. Never tried it in-game, but this is how I did it while modding :)
CRPoV 30 Jan, 2016 @ 5:48pm
Do you know any way to get those special characters when renaming settlements?
Æþelræd Unræd  [author] 29 Jan, 2016 @ 3:37am
@ T3M1ST@CL3S do you have other mods installed, that add or change any factions? if so, you may try a mod manager like http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?680966-Mod-Manager to change the load order.

@ Eldgrim didn't find that mod in a quick search when I made this mod. Would've saved me some time. Still, the other mod doesn't change the settlement names ;)
T3M1ST@CL3S 28 Jan, 2016 @ 11:12am
don´t work for me. the names are equal as vanilla
jgm220 27 Jan, 2016 @ 3:29pm

finally! thanx a LOT for this!!!
was hoping for this quite a time.
so good. thank you Sir.
Eldgrim 25 Jan, 2016 @ 7:29am
The mod Authentic Faction Names is already doing this. Don't really know why we need another one, still, good job on the settlements.
