The Vortex Cloak still has durability when everything is set to infinite as of the time I posted this.

Hi! The first time I loaded this mod, I had no issue and created a new game with customized world and all. But since then, whenever I start a new game/world it crashes. One of the error message I'm seeing is something about spawn prefab if that helps.

I bought all dlc and usual plays RoG+Shipwrecked
I mean.. In solo-ver. of the game thermal stone haven't durability - yr mod fix it, i will really need to make new again -n again for every winter/suumer, not using once all my gameplay? Or it's mod just for DST too and this option makes only for it?

I try different types of the world right now
upd: game crashing after loading basic worlds and SW. I have infinity loading of H, but i think dat effect is similar

The game is crashing every time, when i try to load world with changed durability of thermal stone, just i want get heatrock with durability - infinitive is so casual :<

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but armored hats is set to infinite, and yet they will still break after extended damage. Please tell me I am not the only one who has had this issue.

As you mentioned in previous comments, all items with "unique mechanics" are not being affected by your mod. This includes most of the items in the Volcanic crafting tab.

If the modified items spawn in the treasure chest maybe the 'OBSIDIAN_DURABILITY' is a nil val in modmain line 1844 - 1866 or somewhere.
Check the Spawntreasurechest or other methods about spawning you will get answers i think.

haha well I know nothin of lua programmation other than making this mod, but I see that putting the rate to 0 should prevent burning. But testing always have surprises in reserve.

For some items its more complicated because they have unique mechanic.

Well it's official i'm not knowledgeable enough to make it work lol, at this point i'm just gonna sit and patiently hope you do it :P
If it helps i've only tested it on "infinite" (Which i believe is RemoveDurabilty) setting each time i haven't tested the other settings, being someone who usually only edits "mostly" obvious things i defer to your expertise if you choose to add them.

You dont need to recreate world each time. Try adding it to portable light instead just to see,

i thought simply adding the prefab to your modmain in the firepits section in the same way you did coldfirepits would do it

if pk then
AddPrefabPostInit("pig_ruins_torch", RemoveDurability)
end

like that and for "EditFirepits"

i even tried multiple different ways of adding it all ending with the torch being unlightable, tried different combinations of prefab names (overrides), rebuilding worlds each time to make sure and still the same problem (unlightable fire), it would make the refueling sound but nothing happens.
Ypu're clearly better at this than me though so looking forward to you adding them lol :)

Normally all you have to do is to remove or modify the fuel component that is in the item script.

Had a go myself trying to add them to your mod using "pig_ruins_torch" and the corrsponding transform overrides like "pig_ruins_torch_wall" which is found in the same file but every time i added them they wouldn't light anymore, as if the fuel was being used instantly.

could you please add those randomly generated braziers around the map and the wall mounted torches inside the ruins both in Hamlet dlc, oh also the honey lanterns in mant nests i'm sure theres a few more in hamlet but please keep up the good work :)

If its that, the fault in on the cave mod coz this mod dont do anything about transitionning zones or whatever.

It could be a area transistion problem, I dunno... I don't know how to check the difference between the caves but here's the mod

Ok, I love the mod but unfortunately it seems to 'slightly' conflict with "Caves for SW" because when I enter/exit the cave, the Fire Pit is out and I can't restart it and I have to make an entirely new fire pit. I would also like to point out that the Chiminea isn't infinite by the way.
