That's what I'm digging so much about Keen, they put so much effort into not only expanding what the modders can do but even creating the tools for doing it and showing them how.
I have never seen such a mod-centric game before, and so easy to add and swap mods for either. I'm sure if they hear how much we want this they will find a way to make it happen!
In fact really having the ability to make floating ship elements would be just fantastic. Sure we could just use some fancy gravity cage but actually having ships that look like they are more than one thing working together would be great.
My suggestion, "Teather" blocks which allow you to bind grids together so they move in unison, "Microwave Transmiter" blocks which beam energy from one grid to another. If the "Teathers" have the ability to send components, particularly ammo, that would be perfect.
