Thanks again.

Here is a list of all the workshop scenarios for the route.

@mumrar9009 just searched it, plans discussed about a year ago for reopening the branch as a preserved railway. I'm surprised not sooner, given the line has most of the infrastructure intact (platforms, rails etc.) would be perfect for a small prairie and an autocoach leased from another preserved railway, plus interchanging with a busy mainline station gives it so much potential. Just hope these plans make it into motion.

It's nice to see a route like this and give preservationists the idea about doing such a project

Thanks Girmek :) Its always nice to hear kind comments such as yours. I like to aim to include a high level of detail in my routes, and to hear others think so is very encouraging towards my work. Wish you the best in 2017 :)

This is a route to really enjoy. Here we have an author who has put in a good deal of effort to ensure high standards of quality and a great atmosphere.
Let me tell you, AirbourneAlex does not cut corners, only the best will do.

There are so many maps on the Workshop that are like kids glorified train sets with floating assets and odd signalling. This is not one of them!

AirbourneAlex, you can be justifiably proud of this work. Well done.

I mean one that uses the assets of riviera in the 50s and not the other one
AirbourneAlex  [author] 29 Jul, 2016 @ 10:34pm
Possibly in the future, however it would require a lot of time to remodel Newton Abbot to its present day version which I rather spend finishing other projects. So maybe, but not in the short term, sorry. If you mean using rivera in the 50s' assets e.g. Teingrace Halt or Heathfield Station in a duplicate of this route I'm sure that could be done sometime :)
Geon 29 Jul, 2016 @ 7:43pm
can you make a version that uses riviera in the 50s?
simonmd 12 Jul, 2016 @ 11:19am
@the_darkside_otm: The Heathfield line is still open and complete in the 1950s line.
AirbourneAlex  [author] 24 May, 2016 @ 4:10am
Its for the modern version unfortunately. The Modern Riviera line is a good route though if you're thinking of buying it, easily one of my favourite routes for TS.
the_darkside_otm 23 May, 2016 @ 3:36pm
Will this work with the riveria line in the 50s route or will I have to purchase the modern day route pack as well?
AirbourneAlex  [author] 5 Feb, 2016 @ 10:36am
I get that, I thought in this case it was something to do with a default scenario marker or alike that I could simply move... sorry you have to explain that to so many people :P I'll keep this in mind though for any future route modifications I publish :)
Danny 5 Feb, 2016 @ 10:30am
You can't move the origin in a route once you've started it, bascially when you've started a route the routes point of origin will place tile 0,0 after you have placed scenery or anything it can't be moved. (so if you clone a route you are stuck with that route's point of origin )
AirbourneAlex  [author] 5 Feb, 2016 @ 10:16am
I've got no idea on how to move the origin (did google it but involved something about editing blueprints - and I have no idea on how to do that either) so might just be easier just to create a free roam via the scenario editor like I suggested. Thanks Danny for pointing that out :)
Danny 4 Feb, 2016 @ 1:13pm
Just to note by default if there isn't any free roams it puts the freeroam on the routes point of origin (if you go to edit on the route menu rather than scenario ;) )
AirbourneAlex  [author] 1 Feb, 2016 @ 10:29am
mark.exley, its because the original route origin for the Riviera line is at Exeter St Davids, as this is a copy of the route it has therefore copied the origin, I'll investigate and see if I can change it. Normally I just select Newton Abbot as the start point and drag the scenario marker to wherever I want it on the route when creating a free roam.
thomas.exley 1 Feb, 2016 @ 9:31am
When I load to create a Free Roam it loads Exceter St Davids in route oragin. Do you know why?

Thanks

you ar welcome and keep up the good work :steamhappy:
AirbourneAlex  [author] 31 Jan, 2016 @ 12:32am
Thank you railroad master, I'll try correct this as soon as possible.
PVRS Productions thank you for the comment, a video of this route would be good! I'd recommend the 3F Jinty or 2F Dock tank as your motive power if you make a video, they suit the route really nicely.
TomC_Overshoe 30 Jan, 2016 @ 7:27pm
