I have now uploaded my first ever published scenario - Southbridge Branch Mixed Working (GWR) based in 1957 when British Railways rural branch lines were facing increased competition from road transport.

Thanks heyjoe, the DTG S&C is set in a more modern period than the one I have so I will consider downloading it when the next sale comes along. If I manage to put together a decent scenario for your Southbridge route I'll let you know.

Hello again Nimrodel55. I shall look forward to trying your scenario. You should maybe get the DTG Settle Carlisle route when it comes up again in a sale. It is one of the best for route building assets thus used by many route builders.

Unfortunately I dont have the DTG Settle Carlisle dlc (I use a TP version of the S&C route) so I have not downloaded Ragland. I may attempt creating a scenario for this route though, probably GWR steam loco era.

Hi TrainGuy. An interesting idea. I am humbled by the fact that you find the route interesting enough to re-model and re-publish. You have my permission but I would like a note included to say the original route was by myself. I shall look forward to seeing this published and, quite likely, publish scenarios when it is made final.

I am currently modifying this route into a heriatage line. This includes the changing of the kuju track to potentially Riveara Line in the 50s track, the route is re-signalled and some yards and sidings are being modified. With your permission, I would like to post this on workshop once finished.

I really have enjoyed driving along this route, its got some nice sidings in areas and good station detail.

Hello heyjoe. It seems the issue has been fixed :) All i have to do was to delete the route from inside Train Simulator and re download it. All work out fine in the end!

Hello ATSF. Glad you like the route. There is only one station with name boards 'Midford' which is taken from the Somerset and Dorset route. I don't actually have the knowledge to create my own station nameboards.

Great route! Trouble is, if there's green station signs, it's technically the Southern region. Sorry for being a trouble, but wow, you did great!

Hello FlyingScotsman. Sorry to hear you are having some problems. Nothing has been changed by me. If it worked for you before then it should work again. Maybe something has changed in your settings. Check the 'Scenery Density' which should be on full. This route has over 500 subscribers so I think it must be working for most people.

Hello heyjoe it seems that i'm suffering through the same problems as everybody. Missing assets ill have all of the requirements for the route, Try unsubscribe and resubscribe to it no luck still. The route used to work fine for me but all of a sudden it has stopped working...

Hi rob. Good, that confirms that you should have all the scenery items. Something else you can check - go into Settings (on top right of main menu) > Advanced. Look at 'Scenery Density' this should be full on (to the right), the lower the setting the less scenery is displayed. The only snag is if your computer is not high powered it could run slower. Try it and see.

Hi rob. You are not the first to report some missing assets but why is a bit of a mystery. Sometimes the simulator does fail to show assets even though they are there so check if you are missing the same assets everytime. There is something you can check if you can follow my instructions. Go to Build > Route name Southbridge to Highwood > Edit. Click on the small blue cube (object set filter) and you get a drop-down list on the right. The following items should have two ticks each: Kuju - RailSimulator. RSC - APStation. RSDL - Foilage01 and IslandLine. If any of these do not then give them the ticks.

HeyJoe just a comment i seem to be missing a few asstes as i have people sitting where there should be a bench seat but not there and some people standing in mid air as if there should be a footbridge but not there seems strange everything else seems ok

Hi trainspotter. This sounds like something of a mystery. Do you have the Somerset and Dorset Railway? This route uses the same track which is also included in the European Loco and Asset Pack as far as I know. Try unsubcribing and subscibing again in case something went wrong in the downloading process.

Hi roger. If you have all the items listed then, sorry, I have no idea why you should be missing any assets. A turntable facing off track can usually be turned with key 'G' or 'Ctrl G' as the locomotive approaches. If you still have problems I can only suggest you Unsubcribe and Subscribe again if you haven't done that already.

Hello joe I have all those routes you mentioned,and the turntable is facing off track which means I cant get on it.

Hi roger. Glad you like the route. Too late to change tracks as it is made Final, Sounds like you could be missing the AP Station Asset Pack. This used to be a free download from Train Simulator but I think no longer. I thought it would be part of the European Loco and Asset Pack but maybe not. However it is included with a number of available routes such as Falmouth Branch, The Woodhead Line, Settle and Carlisle, Western Lines of Scotand and probably a few others. If you have any of these routes it should solve the problem. Maybe the turntable does not work because you are trying to turn a loco which is too long. Try something shorter.

Nice route but would look better with iow track,I have missing footbridge at midford,missing roadbridge north of northbridge and the turntable does not seem to work at highwood.

This is a very nice route. I've been looking for a route to do a railway series on, and this one fits the ticket well. Would it be ok? If you want, I can leave a link to the route in my videos.

Brilliant little route really enjoyed it. Can you update the scenarios for the older route to run on this route and are you extending it any further in the future.

This route has been made Final. There are currenly two scenarios for this route if you wish to subscribe. Look for Train Driver Challenge 42 and Train Driver Challenge 43.
