Seems the creator of the skin removed the addon, sadly. I'm sure there are other Michigan State Police CVPI skins you can use on the workshop. Sorry about that. Also let me know if you run into any issues with the vehicle because I uploaded this addon back in 2016 and haven't updated or used it since so I can't say that the addon is working 100% in its current state.
Do you have a ton of icons on your desktop? Because that can be on big factor. You should be able to do an automatic file clean up(getting rid of trash files taking up processing power) and also defrag your hard drive. Any none of those 3 things work, then message me some time and ill see what else it could be.
Errors out the wazoo and the thing is slow as crap. I hate my life somtimes.
Glad to hear, I got a few more projects on the way.
Well I wish I still had a life, but ever sence I started work, its been consuming my life and I been on and off depressed. But, need to make money you know?
But because of the control feak side of him and the paranoia of losing his "cult" members he killed those NBC news reporters and all because some members of his "cult" were wanting to leave because they were pretty much being held prisoners. So once members started to leave, he really lost it. After he sent members to kill those news reporters and US senator that came to get those members, he ordered that mass suicide(around 900). People who didn't want to drink the poisoned laced kool-aid were ether force fed the stuff or held down and injected with the stuff they put into the kool-aid. There are actually a few news reporters and members that survived(ran and or hid) that tell there stories to this day.
It was a mix of both. The guy had a great idea and meant well(well, for some time that is), but he did drugs which really made him paranoid and all(explaining why he killed those new reporters and US senator) also because of the drugs became kind of a control freak, it tied in with the paranoia, thats why Jones town went down hill from the start. He was also missed up in the head, the signs showed as a child, heck when he was a kid, he killed a cat then held a funeral for it. But if it wasn't for his mental instability, drugs, and lieing, he would have been a great person with great intentions. There are some good documentarys on youtube to watch.
See that I can understand. But then there are people who watch people play games they already own. A lot of people find those youtubers "funny" but to me they just act stupid. But thats just me. Also yep..he was a messed up guy and thats where the phrase "Don't drink the kool-aid" came from.
If you goolge Jim Jones and Jones town, you'll be pretty shocked. Veitnam probably has to be my favorite war time in hisotry, besides the cold war. But when im board late in the night, ill usally benge watch siren vids and what not, so we both have to much free time, lol. But im not much of a fan of youtube gamers, i don't see the point.
P.S. What music do you listen to?
*Jim Jones
That is what exactly keeps the workshop(and the world) alive. If you balance out odd ball stuff and real stuff, the world will be amazing. As for me I can tell you everything about tornado sirens(or almost everything), car washes(almost everything), i can tell you anything about the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl nuclear disasters by heart and last but not least everything about Jim Jhones and Jones town(i like to study psychology and sociology so thats why i know a lot about that huge massacre).
And thank you!
P.S. Happy belated birthday!
Like wise with you, with the maturity level and all. I actually just turned 19 on tuesday. But i got to say this is the longest discusstion i've had with someone about emergency lighting(i find a lot of intrest in a lot of odd ball stuff. Tornado sirens, lots of things) . But as far as the skin, i do have a good friend(he did the skin on my suburban) that would be able to do it but i just haven't wanted to bother him with it yet. You know i been really tempted to upload just a complete stupid car, like a light bar and LED for every square inch of the car, lol. But a christmas tree car, can look rather unattractive. The way i see it as far as lighting goes, you need to balance the attractivness of the car with the lights and have enough(or not to many) for it to be safe for visibility.
Also thanks! Im kind of suprised people are still subbing to it even though dagger took down his skin and it not having a skin at the moment(until i get another one made).
Or at least one or two LED's on the skirt or a dual LED on the side windows. Thats the problem with standard bar light bars, they have full visibility front and back, but at the sides, meh. Thats why federal signal made the SLR, Valor, Vector. Those light bars provide full visible coverage.
You'd be suprised by how little of lighting you could have and still be within safe levels of visibilty. My countys car(we have diffrent cars but all our new cars consist of the chevy caprice and the ford taurus.) All our cars are pusuit ready(heavy duty wrap around push bars) and the only lighting our normal patrol cars use are a light bar, two licence plate LEDS and one LED on each side of the push bar and you can see the thing from a mile away.
I watched many videos trying to get a idea of how the LED set up is. From the videos i had seen it's set up like they way i have it and the other set up is a single perfect wrap-around LED that does a swipe type effect(acting like the old rotators). As far as the rest of the car, the LEDS that are on the car in game are the same exact places they are in real life. No more, no less. Now if its a slick top, it will have mirror LEDS and some odd looking flood light type LEDS mounted to a bigger push bar than the one you see in game. Also i totally get what you mean, I get tradition, but you got to think at some point is that really the most safe idea? Like you said "a Whelen Justice would do more justice than a little beacon". Heck, they could have the light set up of the FDNY and it would be safer than a single beacon that still has a rotating effect.
See thats what bugs me so much. I want to have more LED's in it(filling the side angle gaps between the LED's that are in there already), but I want to stay real to the MSP design(or any real life car, if thats what im making). So im stuck between a rock and a hard place. Sadly I usally like to stay true to the real life car, unless im making a car from scratch that isn't real.
Well they still use becons. Just LED becons. They still have a rotating effect to it with the flash patterns but flash a lot faster so visbility won't be a concern. Or all the LED's could flash at once, depending on what they want to do. They keep the becon(gumball) light and sign(sharkfin) because its part of their tradition.
Like they say, "everything works out in the end". I don't know a whole lot about the MSP, but from what I do know they started using LED's due to the fact a single rotating light won't been seen at all angles constantly and will take time to be seen by some one at an angle depending where they are standing and what the lighting position is as the light is rotating. So it being a non-rotating LED makes it a lot safer for the driver of the car and other drivers on the road.
Dang...sorry to hear that.
I hear you, but you have to make cuts some where so you can actually enjoy the game and the addons.
Well it was on the required addons list but I guess DAGGER took it down for what ever reason.
