1,2 and 3. The reason why the animations aren't using the empty or exclusively use the empty is because Valve couldn't carry over the animations as both shotguns only use one reload animation that's shared between them. Pumps don't even make use of the pump to load the shells when emptied and Autos make you cock the gun even when tactical reloading. So for that kind of thing to be fixed would have be done through the game's very own coding to where your making a script instead of just a re-animation.
1.) the auto ahotgun (not spas) does not have the empty reload animation where they would cock it back when it gets to 10 bullets from 0.
2.) the pump shotguns none empty reload (both wooden and chrome) use the "empty" reload animation even when they don't get empty. while in your other version that has the L4D1 shotgun it indeed has that.
3.) the spas shotgun uses the empty reload animation from L4D1 even when you still have shells in the gun.
im not sure if it's possible to fix these things, but i just thought id let you know
