You should still be able to use steam workshop downloader and similar sites to download it manually. Just google search that term for links.

@Darmondmazual
Thanks! I'm sure that will help out a lot of people. Unfortunately, I've lost my original modding files so I can no longer update the download to accommodate RAS on my end.
paolo.vaccaro23 10 Jan, 2021 @ 2:11am
when i try to download dropbox tells me that a problem happened to the link. Do you know if it's possible to fix it or to retrieve the mod somewhwere else? I'd really like to try it.
Darmondmazual 29 Nov, 2019 @ 7:20pm
the fix below should allow RAS to work same as with Caral previously only a hobbyist at programming/modding and havent had a lot of time to run tests for berks but this allows Caral to display properly in RAS only issue so far is you see 2 fishers and dont see the UB in the startup loading screen
Darmondmazual 29 Nov, 2019 @ 7:18pm
currently did not seem to be RAS (really advanced setup compatable) to fix this go to

@Cap_H
Thanks! This pack is actually one of the mods I'm most proud of so it means a lot to hear people enjoy it.

@ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ tater thot hotdish ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
The pack currently works with YnAEMP for true start maps. I'll look into adding Hormigas Enhanced Map Pack support but it might be a while before I get the time to do another update.
Cap_H 13 Feb, 2018 @ 2:36am
Oh my, this pack's great. Four of these civs are lovely. Olmecs are my favourite and they have a beautiful diplomacy screen.
I really like playing as Sumer, their UA is super simple and yet it completely changes the game.
Harappa and Coral civs are great too.
I'm little less keen on Xia as I tend to play as peacefully as possible, but the combination of culture and war is also interesting.
I like that they're all civs with fairly strong starts. They feel better than many official civs.
Playing with this collection and akkad right now and it geves the game much stronger presence. Keep it up with Civ VI
:mug:
Not quite compatible with Hormigas Enhanced Map Pack - I can't choose any of these civs as a starting civ. They also won't show up in their true start locations. Any idea if/when this will be added?
willowvignette 27 Jul, 2017 @ 1:15pm
Because these are mod makers not professional artists, lol. Almost every mod on the workshop uses a static leader.
Erate 27 Jul, 2017 @ 12:32pm
Why Doesn't The Harappa Leader (I Forgot His Name) Have An Animation? It Is Sort Of Unsettling That He Doesn't Move When I Talk To Him.
Stef 7 Feb, 2017 @ 11:24am
Most likely a stupid question, but what is PeC?
Tomatekh  [author] 6 Feb, 2017 @ 3:52pm

Tim Walz's Horse 17 Dec, 2016 @ 3:38pm
Are all of these civs supported in JFD's addons?
Tomatekh  [author] 7 Dec, 2016 @ 2:30pm
v.15

- The Olmec have been added to the pack.

If you need the previous version (12) to continue a save, a download link is at the bottom of the description.
Tomatekh  [author] 7 Dec, 2016 @ 2:18pm
The pack should have no problems with the CP, but probably won't be compatible with the CBP.
King Bastenredpild 16 Sep, 2016 @ 1:49am
Does this mod pack have any known conflicts with the Communitas mods or any other civ mods?
Tomatekh  [author] 15 Aug, 2016 @ 3:06pm

-Fixed JFD's Monk specalist being counted twice if you used a certain combination of his mods.

If you need the previous version, 11, to continue a save, a download link is at the bottom of the description.
Tomatekh  [author] 6 Jun, 2016 @ 8:50pm
Huh, I was sure I fixed that issue.

Last time it was just from having an empty file. I'll try re-uploading the mod.
DrakenX999 6 Jun, 2016 @ 8:23pm
I seem to be having a crash with the newly uploaded version, similar to what happened before with your Xia mod.
Tomatekh  [author] 6 Jun, 2016 @ 9:24am
v.10

Tomatekh  [author] 21 May, 2016 @ 12:33pm
@rpablo_a
It should work with the EE mod.
rpablo_a 21 May, 2016 @ 12:22pm
Hello, is this mod compatible with Enlightenment Era?
Tomatekh  [author] 21 May, 2016 @ 6:55am
@rayd.abuayyash

Do you used JFD's ExCE? ExCE apparently doesn't work with any mod that uses SaveUtils, which would be the reason for the error with Xia.
Tomatekh  [author] 17 May, 2016 @ 1:33pm
v.9

- Really sorry to update again so soon. Minor bug fix, but should still be compatible with the previous versions', 8, saves.
Tomatekh  [author] 14 May, 2016 @ 2:21pm
v.8

- Incorporated the recent bug fixes to the standalone Xia and Harappa mods.

if you need the previous version, v.6, to continue a save, a download link is at the bottom of the description.
Tomatekh  [author] 13 May, 2016 @ 5:39am
@rayd.abuayyash
Another mod you are using must be interferring with the Xia mod. If you can post your mod list and possibly any error log files I can help you.
issaray 13 May, 2016 @ 12:23am
I have completed a social policy tree but nothing happened in terms of dynasty. Also the name of the dynasty no longer shows at the top of the screen?

Hey, everyone!

I’ve just updated my Benin (BNW) mod with new art by the amazing Janboruta! Please check it out!

v.6

- Should hopefully have fixed the crash when Steam attempts to extract the mod (let me know if people still experience this).

Not compatible with old saves.
Tomatekh  [author] 14 Apr, 2016 @ 9:18pm
Okay, so I think I figured out the crashing issue. I will try to upload a new version tomorrow.
vondraco 5 Apr, 2016 @ 11:54am
The Direct DL link didn't work, didn't crash, but didn't seem to do anything. So I tried subscribing to one of your collections (I forget which, the big one) in which CroC was included. It crashed the game as well, but only after installing several of the other mods. I'm not sure if I got all of the other ones, but looks like a lot of them (Benin, Caral, Champa, etc.) I did end up with a Xia civ5mod file in the MODS directory though, with no Xia folder.

Personal note: you are one creative mofo and you know your shtuff. Kudos. And thanks!
Tomatekh  [author] 5 Apr, 2016 @ 11:47am
That's a general bug with the Steam workshop that pops up regardless of the mod. Usually, if you unsubscribe and then resubscribe in game from the mod's menu it gets the download to trigger correctly.

Otherwise, yeah, unsubscribe completely and delete any remnants that might still be in the mods folder. Then put the file from the direct download link into the mods folder (~/documents/my games/civ v/mods). That will usually install it correctly regardless of if the Steam workshop is acting up.

Hope that helps.
vondraco 5 Apr, 2016 @ 11:18am
I see the 'Direct Download' link just above ... I'll give that a shot.
vondraco 5 Apr, 2016 @ 11:17am
My bad - I wasn't clear on that. The problem is not with running the mod, it's getting it in the first place. I can't download it. Steps I took and what happened:

1) Chose a different mod that looked interesting (Phoenicia Civ). When I subscribed, it downloaded just fine and showed up in the Civ5 mods list.
2) I went to this mod, saw I was subscribed, so I unsubscribed.
3) Left the game. There is a Phoenicia Civ folder in the MODS folder for Civ5, as expected.
4) I restarted the game and subscribed to this mod.
5) As it was downloading, the game crashed.
6) All that is in the MODS foler is a file (not a folder) called "Cradles of Civilization Pack (Brave New World) (v4).civ5mod"

Thanks for your help, and the mod!
Tomatekh  [author] 4 Apr, 2016 @ 10:51am
Just to be safe, I've reuploaded (v.4) it without the CiD reference.
Tomatekh  [author] 4 Apr, 2016 @ 7:02am
Hmm, the only other change I did to the update was add a reference to the CiD mod. It's possible this caused a loop which would end in a crash (though I'm not sure why another mod would reference the Cradles Pack to start the loop).

If the first part of the mod folder there should be a file named after the mod "Cradles of Civilization Pack (Brave New World) (v 3)" [next to the "Civ Switch" file and two other folders], if you open that file (with notepad or something similar) and then search for "CiD" you'll find a line thats <Mod id="10e9728f-d61c-4317-be4f-7d52d6bae6f4" minversion="0" maxversion="999" title="CiD" /> Delete that entire line and save it, and then try to start the game. If it is that reference causing the crash, that will fix it. If not I need to look into it more.
vondraco 4 Apr, 2016 @ 6:34am
Latest updae causes the game to crash when loading the mods. Even tried unsubscribing then resubscribing, that didn't work. Any suggestions?
Tomatekh  [author] 2 Apr, 2016 @ 2:36pm

Thanks
Tomatekh  [author] 8 Feb, 2016 @ 5:36pm
Because Ur is used in the Sumerian city list.
JustaFerret 8 Feb, 2016 @ 5:16pm
Why did you replace Ur with Skara Brae?
