so you suggest to instead of donloading a mod, modding the game yourself... thanks for nothing. people download mods because they don't want to bother learning to mod themselves.

You can mod the + aim yourself simply by changing the numbers in the config file no mod required

I definitely enjoyed using this mod for the base game, I thought it was working for WotC since I was hitting stuff pretty often. I guess it wasn't.

Im all for boosting sniper and sidearm aim, they seem lacking. but not so sure shotgun and cannon.

What i CAN say with certainty is rifle aim makes no sense to me, it shouldn't be so low, its almost never an ok option to choose overwatch with guardian or even cover fire, only works the way its intended 1/5 times for me, can't always be shooting from roofs after all, and im even talking coronel with aim implant and superior scope (and the +10 aim purchased tactics). And i would never choose to equip a ranger with a rifle over a shotgun on higher difficulties. I think you should boost rifle accuracy even further.

Um, not sure there is a base cinematic mode in XCOM 2, I just made this the emulate the long war second wave setting.

we all really appreciate you trying to fix the mess about misses bug, but it would be better if you try your best to remaster aiming system instead adding aditional accuracy. or you have not enough skills to do so?

Thanks much! Yes that does sound good, it seemed (maybe my imagination) like some cannons were hitting too often, but I liked the bonus to hit..

I too made my game a bit harder by using mods for more kinds of aliens and having the player's armor be worse (don't get shot, it hurts more, you could die), and I liked that. So having a bit more chance to hit seemed like a nice balance back for me ... will try this mod out again! :)

The mod already just adds +5 to the aim stat of each weapon, I personally added more kinds of aliens and then increased the squad size, That made the game alot more equal and felt a bit more like Long war to me at least. The INI file is just the Weapon Data Ini in your game if you would like to adjust it yourself.

It's a bit too good ... would you have some kind of .ini file with the values so we can hand tweak them? I'm not sure but even a flat +5 / +10 / +15 (adjustable) or a mod that sets all items to +5 or to +10 might be better. I use this with other mods that lower armor health and just make it like normal armor, so to me, an accuracy increasing mod gives my game play some balance.

I'm not sure if there is a conflict issue with some of the other mods I have but when I try to use this the for wont dissappear in the strategic battles, its fine when you are actually picking targets looking down the gun but when you are looking over the battlefield you can't see anything.

not sure, but i haven't seen any real tank class, sure there is the exo-suits that give a little more armor and have arm-cannon, but we have close, mid and long ranged, healers, damage dealers and even crowd control.. but no tank, maybe i just haven't look hard enough on it tho.

How about a jet pack type guy that flies around like the Floater/Archon, and cant take cover?
