WotC DLC不需要mod,因为它已经具有相同的功能。

描述:
重新引入“让武器可用”按钮,在2016年12月05日的补丁中引入,在2016年8月11日的补丁中移除,只允许移除升级和有限的武器。
与主要和次要武器工作。
不像香草,不删除自定义武器没有升级和无限数量。

已知问题:有一个小的延迟,modded按钮启动,所以请注意[MOD]指示符在弹出对话框标题。

注意:mods不会禁用XCOM2中的成就。

Yeah, I've heard that not all of the mod features are available in vanilla, but I still don't own WotC myself, so I can't update it, sorry.

That's not what this mod does though. Have a look for "Remove Equipment Mods", apparently works with WoTC.

I can't find this functionality in WotC. I know you can swap mods in and out with the breakthrough that allows it, but there doesn't seem to be a button to strip all weapon mods

Well, the mod was never about removing anything from a weapon, but about removing a weapon from a soldier. So making another mod would be more logical. But I myself don't play XCOM2 anymore and don't make any mods for it.

Is it possible you could make a version of this mod that just strips weapon mods from every weapon available? With LW2 now being a thing, and weapon mods there being freely changable, a possibility to remove every mod from every weapon would help greatly.

I'm not playing XCOM2 anymore and I don't have time right now to look into what Firaxis did, sorry. Hope they'll release some sort of quick fix soon as this patch is a complete disaster. When they do, feel free to post a comment here and I will update the mod if it breaks again.

For me at least what the Button actually says can be different to what it does. I've found the button tooltip to accurately reflect what happens when I click it. There appears to be no consistency in what button performs what action. I do use other mods affecting the load out screen so (as it's workable for me) I haven't investigated further, keeps me on my toes though...

I'm having issues with this mod apparently... Since the last update i can't open the menu while on the avenger, and, when i open any tab (always in the avenger menu), i can see the A button of the xbox controller under the first word of the menu i'm selecting.

I can't find a dialog with additional buttons in resources, so there will be no "combo-button" for the next version. But there is a place for another button on squad select screen, so I might add something like "unequip everything" to remove every piece of non-default gear from every soldier and replace it with default ones.

Would it be technically possible to turn the button into a combo-button (a button with a sub-menu) with the elements "Make customized weapons available", "Make upgraded weapons available" and "Make both available"? This would be really neat.

@The Red One Previous version as well as new vanilla button replaces all weapons with best default ones. This results in both upgraded and customized, but not upgraded weapons being removed. When Christopher Odd posted his experience with stripping 40+ weapons, which weren't actually upgraded, but customized, in his modded game, I took his post to heart and made a new (current) version which strips only upgraded weapons and leaves custom, but not upgraded weapons in place.

I already figured out how to override vanilla button behavior and I'm currently testing the new version.

Also, thanks to KeithA I have the DLC, so I can confirm that the mod works with it, although, it's kinda redundant now. I will see if I can override native button with latest modded behavior.

Looks like they've added native strip weapons button, but it works like the previous version of this mod did: removes any custom weapons and not just upgraded ones. Works with primary, secondary and heavy weapons.

I tested new beta for just one mission, but nexus mod users reported no bugs with it, so I guess updating steam version should be relatively safe. Will do it today.

Changes:
- Strips only actually upgraded weapons and not any non-standard weapons.
- Added strip weapons button to individual soldier loadout screen.

@ChristopherOdd 40 soldiers? OMG! I suppose, you're playing a heavily modded game. Technically, all the non-default weapons are replaced with default ones, so yes, it removes customized weapons too. I think, that's why Firaxis haven't implemented it: because of the idea of soldier-specific named and recolored weapons. I can look into this, but I can't promise anything as XCOM modding wasn't created with letting us to rewrite base functionality in mind.

@The Red One As far as I can see that guy just took my code and rewrote it a bit. So I already kinda helped him. :)

I noticed in a comment below that clicking the "make weapons available" button will remove everyone's custom weapon, and replace it with the blank versions. Is there a way to stop taht behaviour from happening? Just stripped 40 soldiers custom weapons :(

@malletmann117 I actually did and uploaded it on Nexus for testing since I'm not playing the game currently. It was reported that new version works fine, so I will update the mod in a day or two.

OMG thank you so much for this. I just posted a complain on Steam forum about the lack of Remove Weapon button and saw your mod. It baffled me that Firaxis didn't put in the button to begin with
