"Instructions coming soon"...so that was a lie
ALTAR 3 Feb, 2017 @ 6:28pm
Try 5 times to use this scrit, it is similar to the other one that is from Whip's Artificial Horizon Script, this unfortunately does not work. Of Whip's Artificial Horizon Script yes.
TriloBite_Me 23 Jun, 2016 @ 1:00am
I broke again and I can't fix it. Nothing works.
TriloBite_Me 22 Jun, 2016 @ 1:44pm
Figured it out. If it does not work the first time, ctrl+A the code, delete it and reload it and hit Check Code on the bottom of the screen. It should boot up.
TriloBite_Me 22 Jun, 2016 @ 1:34pm
Been having trouble with the script. It would not work for me. I did every thing the instructions said. I'll messing with it and I'll post again if I fix it myself.
E-Man720 16 Jun, 2016 @ 5:12am
Either should work.
Jakaya 16 Jun, 2016 @ 2:38am

Mister Jeff Man 18 May, 2016 @ 3:29pm

⎠Byte™⎝ 4 May, 2016 @ 3:14pm

awesome!!!

Thanks!!! :Khappy:
Naosyth  [author] 24 Apr, 2016 @ 12:49am
Fixed the screen, should update correctly now.
zen 11 Apr, 2016 @ 4:47pm
other screens update when I'm looking at them, why doesn't this?
iits_salmon 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:23pm
unfortunate, really was looking forward to using the script... hop keen fixes soon
E-Man720 21 Mar, 2016 @ 5:58am
Feels like it's gonna be a long wait..........

But the new 'feature/un-named tweak' pretty much broke the whole point of having a HUD on my latest ship, and made it a hell of a lot harder to fly, because the pilot pretty much relies on flight data from this script to keep her flying straight on an even keel.
Naosyth  [author] 18 Mar, 2016 @ 9:02pm
Aha, it looks like the most recent update really broke text panels. They only update when you aren't looking at them. At least on single player world. There's nothing I can do to fix this, so you'll just have to hang tight until Keen fixes this next update.
Naosyth  [author] 18 Mar, 2016 @ 8:09pm
Yeah, this seems to be broken due to a recent update. I'll see if I can figure out why.
iits_salmon 18 Mar, 2016 @ 3:34pm
not working for me followed all the instructions and nothing outputs to the display. i think the update borked this mod... pls fix soon
zen 18 Mar, 2016 @ 8:24am
did update bork this?
DeAnti 8 Mar, 2016 @ 1:32pm
i keep having trouble with this need an example please
DeAnti 8 Mar, 2016 @ 1:31pm
can you put a ship on the WS with this running
kaskoby 20 Feb, 2016 @ 10:52am
No PB errors, timer is running
kaskoby 20 Feb, 2016 @ 10:50am
Well now the screen is showing but it isnt updating
Naosyth  [author] 20 Feb, 2016 @ 9:41am
Does the PB have any errors in its extra info thing? (Bottom right of its page in terminal) Also make sure the timer is running. Sometimes I forget to actually press start after setting it up.

If you placed/renamed stuff after placing the PB and loading the program, it won't work until you click 'remember and exit' on the PB again.

If none of that works, I can take a look at it for you.
kaskoby 20 Feb, 2016 @ 9:35am
it is and its owned by me
Naosyth  [author] 20 Feb, 2016 @ 9:24am
@MisterMegaByte Make sure the screen is set to show public text
kaskoby 20 Feb, 2016 @ 7:10am
Followed the quick instructions exactly, named everything correclty and i built an addional RC block just for this script, but its still not working on me
nothing shows up on text panel
Ace_Fetz 19 Feb, 2016 @ 5:35pm
The screen looks like I'm playing "Stealth" for the original Nintendo!!! SO MUCH FUN!!
Naosyth  [author] 16 Feb, 2016 @ 4:34pm
Yup, just rename the variable at the top and you should be good
E-Man720 16 Feb, 2016 @ 4:26pm
If i want to use several scripts using one reference RC block, do i just rename things once at the start of the script?
Naosyth  [author] 16 Feb, 2016 @ 12:40pm
I suppose I can stop being lazy and update the instructions tonight. One important step I forgot above is: set the text panel to show public text
StealthCharm 16 Feb, 2016 @ 9:50am
When will the "instructions" come out because I can not for the life of me get this thing to work
zen 15 Feb, 2016 @ 9:28pm
I don't get what I'm doing wrong- everything is named properly, ownership is set, timers are working
Naosyth  [author] 15 Feb, 2016 @ 6:04pm
@Zac Lee I just tested it, and it worked when the text panel was on another grid.
Naosyth  [author] 14 Feb, 2016 @ 10:34am
@Zac Lee that is probably the problem. I'll try to test that later today.
zen 14 Feb, 2016 @ 8:25am
I've follwed your instructions to the T and it doesn't work.

though, the screen is on a rotor- the program and timer is not- would this be the problem?
Naosyth  [author] 12 Feb, 2016 @ 2:40pm
Glad to hear it! Enjoy :)
Deese Nutz 12 Feb, 2016 @ 1:55pm
Nevermind. I got it to work Naosyth. This is one amazing script. :D
Deese Nutz 11 Feb, 2016 @ 2:03pm
Alright. The fighter is nearly done. I"ll send it to you to look at once I finish setting up the missile lock systems.
Naosyth  [author] 11 Feb, 2016 @ 12:25pm
Upload it to the workshop and I can take a look for you
Deese Nutz 11 Feb, 2016 @ 9:07am
Tried it, and it's still not working for me. :(
Naosyth  [author] 11 Feb, 2016 @ 9:06am
@kokurokoki if you aren't in gravity then it will automatically switch to velocity mode, where it shows your heading relative to your velocity vector.
Deese Nutz 11 Feb, 2016 @ 7:18am
@Naosyth I have a question though. Will it spazz out if there are no planets nearby? Or does the horizon automatically sync with the sun if that happens?
Deese Nutz 11 Feb, 2016 @ 7:17am
Thanks a bunch, I'll get to making it work again. My fighter just feels... incomplete without it.

I just have to find an LCD now that can hold it... xD
Naosyth  [author] 11 Feb, 2016 @ 12:09am
@Kokurokoki No problem. The reason it broke when you moved the Remote is that it only looks for blocks when you click "Remember and exit" on the programmable block. If it loses the block, it will crash. You can fix it by just clicking 'remember and exit' on the PB again.

The display could spaz out of the remote control block is rotated incorrectly. Make sure it is oriented like your cockpit. You can double check it is correct by trying to pilot your vehicle via the remote control.

On your fighter, double check the timer settings, and make sure the blocks are all named correctly (case sensitive!). If you place the blocks after the program, just save the program again so that it can find the blocks.
Naosyth  [author] 11 Feb, 2016 @ 12:06am
@shepard1707 I would assume it works with that mod, but I haven't tested it. If the draw rate is slow, it's most likely a problem with the timer, so double check that.

If it isn't drawing the screen at all, again check the timer, and check that you have the required blocks and that they are named correctly. It is case sensitive. Make sure the text panel is set to display public text and that everything is owned by you.
Deese Nutz 10 Feb, 2016 @ 7:00pm
@Naosyth Sorry, I was super tired when I wrote that.

Essentially, it gives me a blank screen. I tried it on another ship and it worked, but I moved the remote block and it stopped working. However, even when it worked, the display was spazzing out and seemed like it wasn't working correctly.

So pretty much it seems like I need to delete the entire system and remake it for it to work. Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work for my fighter even when I did that. I even tried switching to public display, because it worked to a limited degree on the small test ship I used it on. But no avail. :(
VikkelEekhorn 10 Feb, 2016 @ 6:49pm
No screen draw. I'm using an LCD mod to render it. The problem seems to be either in the timer block. Weather it's in it not trigering/starting appropriately, or if it's not activating the programeable block, I'm not really sure.

I'm also having trouble with the refresh rate, in that it seems much too slow. Absolutely nothing like what you have in your screenshot gifs. Is there a setting I need to adjust for that? And does this mod work with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=400037065 this one?
Naosyth  [author] 10 Feb, 2016 @ 6:26pm
@shepard1707 @Kokurokoki I can't help unless you give me more details. How is it failing? Does it give an error? Does it draw the screen? What's happening?
Deese Nutz 10 Feb, 2016 @ 3:55pm
This is not working for me either...
