Have to install it, run it, then mount it in GMod.
They're programmed into the map. At best, you could disable AI either with the context menu, or by using the ai_disable console command, but I make no guarantee the map would work.
Another map in the collection might work for your SST stuff. GM_CoolPit. It's a holdout-fort with native spawns for Antlions that can be disabled/enabled. It's noded, so normal spawned NPCs should work with it.
There's NPC spawns and triggers in the map, so unless you don't want to move at all, I wouldn't recommend it.
Alright, so now you've proven you're not an idiot like the other 99% of comments I get asking what Episode 2 is, try these things.
Is it installed? Have you run EP2 once to the main menu? Did you mount it in the menu of GMod using the controller icon on the bottom right of the main menu?
