High Dynamic Range, if the setting is not checked on a map compile the map lighting will not look right and usually SFM gets confused and switches it to Fullbright. Just make sure you check it if you make an SFM map.

Check enable lighting, it's dark so you can use your own lighting, read the description carefully.

More detail? It's a set piece, it's for you build your own scenes, unless you mean textures, I'm confused.
