If not, I am thinking of creating a nickname mod to cover new hero classes and also all existing WOTC user custom classes to date. Would you have any objections to me picking from your list and crediting you?
Look for "ISky's Big LW2 Name Mod". It includes this mod and a bunch of others.
Sorry I have recently been away from modding due to issues outside my control :( I am able to do modding in about a month or so, but until then I cannot upload anything
the script folder should be empty right? if so yes.

it would also be nice if the XComGame folder were deleted. Actually the whole script and folders should probably go.
RandomNickNames[132]=Dwarf""
Looks like should be:
RandomNickNames[132]="Dwarf"
And to answer my own question of ~6 weeks ago, there are some more callsigns in this version not in the Nexus one. Approx. 30 more.
Because for every mod I could delete this without any problem, and Dragon32 below me already pointed that size-difference in comparison to the Nexus-Version out which could easily be explained by this.
And thanks for the mod, BTW, it's a keeper for me.
I'm not 100% sure, but from what I'm understanding from the code is that each unit class calls from each template to create the nickname list. Not sure you can combine the nickname list without individually doing it yourself
I don't know what to tell ya... We are already merged. This mod contains almost everything that that mod contains with that mod author's permission of course
Did you do anything other than adding the relevant "[ ]" followed by the list? Because that's what I've been doing;
[XGMission]
m_aFirstOpName[113]=Test
m_aFirstOpName[114]=Test
m_aFirstOpName[115]=Test
And so on until it reaches 1000 (just to make sure ithe chances of it not getting a word from the list would be minimal)
Yet it just doesn't work.
Please double check if this bug in ModBuddy may apply to your mod to help modded X2 games run better.
Randomnickname [68] = butbob
Your nickname mod
Randomnickname [68] = cool nickname
cool nickname will override butbob
The rest should be fine though
Sorry only english
Thank you
Thanks glad you like it
No it does not conflict with mods that edit actual names, or country names :D This mod would only conflict with mods that edit nicknames
Sure I can tell you where it is, those file are located in the XCOM 2\XComGame\Localization\INT folder in the XcomGame.int you need notepad+ or equivalent in to edit it. Otherwise just use this mod
Actually it is not. We both use the same arrays as each other. I got permission to intergrate Expanded Callsigns and Names into this mod, so feel free to use this one or that one, no matter what you'll get the same experience :D
