Because altering the heightmap changes the checksum.

That shouldn't be the cause either. I've got two ideas: Delete everything within this folder: Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\gfx

If that doesn't work you could try replacing the files in the game folder. Just make sure to backup the original files first.

yeah :s I tried with other fm mods too, subscribe and manual downloads, neither like me XD
I dont have the latest 2 expansions either, could there be something in there? :)

Hmm... the map is still hilly :s Not one of the many flat-map mods works for me XD
Could it be my lack of a 64bit system? :)
