Nice game. As Josh says nice to see a side-scroller. Looks like you've put considerable thought and effort into this, overcoming a number of hurdles to get basic mechanics into place. Most importantly you have a finished game! Something to be proud of for sure. Don't think there were any performance issues. Solid 60fps for me I think.
