This is.. holy shit.

I'm trying to use this mod using the Xcom 2 Alternative Mod Launcher 1.4.1 but it doesn't seem to be working. I see the Wotc mod and the original mod in the mod list, but when I click both on and try to run Wotc I get an error:
Error detected attempting to load of package: AyyLmao
and when I turn off the vanilla version and try to run Wotc the game never fires up. Any ideas?

For anyone interested: You can edit the localization file found in the workshop folder of this game (Your directory - 286500 - 623425061) and change anything in this mod, even make changes for what wasn't affected.

I.E. you can change Specters into... I dunno, "Nano Machines, Son" or "Razer Gaming Nanoswarm", and it'll show up in-game!

oh man, come back to play this over a year later and this mod is still being updated. this is the best, dumbest mod you can get.

I will try to update this for WotC as soon as possible. First step is ensuring the current mod works properly with WotC, and after that we can look into adding "translations" for the new content.

I live for this mod. I installed it right away and it's perfect.

I had this on my very first run...loved it. now i run a lw2 campaign, does this work with all the diferent alien variants too? like, is it now "sidewinder snek" and whatnot?^^

It changes the text on the main menu but everything else is fine. I don't know if a mod is interfering with it or what, but it's strange that the menu still has it.

This is it. This is the final step. For months my XCOM 2 game slowly crept towards this precipice. At first I got fairly mundane mods. New armor props and whatnot. But then the memes started. Clown noses and chicken masks. Ainsley Harriot and Michael Rosen joined my ranks. And now, with this mod, the transformation is complete. Welcome to the Meme Side, XCOM 2.
