Thanks for the comments, turns out putting it in leisure was pretty bad xD. I added a warning, might fix at some point if i ever get back into this, but for now just unsub if it's too much. Sorry all.

It was good to look at individually, unfortunately, they become horrendous to look at if you have too many of them which this mod does far too much...

Overload your city with futuristic San Francisco today!

I had these filled in my city, but I really like the look of them, haha. Thank you! :)

Why is my city filled with these? No thanks.

great building, BUT I, too, have to unsubscribe because it pops up way too often!
Littlejon_LJ 8 May, 2017 @ 4:18pm
this thing ignores the no-highrise policy btw.

Unsubscribed it as it pops up everywhere.

Loving this building, looks great. Personally I would keep it as leisure, and I have no issue with not zoning 4x4 leisure lots to prevent it popping up. The building's ambience sort of also works in that category, in contrast with tourism-zones, which are more toned down.

Had to unsubscribe because it was popping up so much. Not the modders fault of course. It looks absolutely stunning

i suggest a trick: dont make full sized leisure zones. just put a single leisure zone point here and there, just enough for one of these casinos.
i also tested leisure buildings... and honestly, they look not good. the best experiment with standard leisure zone which i had was a single lane street upon a beach. like in Lido di venezia.
But near skycraper city this also looks more like something between ghetto and slum... :D
so maybe your pyramid here and there may be the best plan to bring in some leisure in the city.

Really? I think it looks fine, maybe you should leave it as is. It would be great to have a few high rise leisure buildings, only 5 or 6 would be plenty.
Whipplesnoodle  [author] 8 Apr, 2016 @ 3:16pm
@Droidhacker: Yeh xD. I never really intended this half hour project as anything more than a silly experiment! But mostly thanks to the 50 collections it has been included in it is now THE staple skyline-ruiner in many young cities. I'll see tomorrow if I can finally change the category of this building, but honestly... I cannot even justify putting this abomination in the game as a unique xD.

Cont. from previous comment
Maybe the leisure towers could make like TONS of money but require skilled labor or something. The leisure category is overall completely neglected on the workshop. It would be beyond amazing to have maybe 5-10 futuristic leisure towers to use in downtown areas. I tremble at the thought of what you Quad and maybe others here could come up with! Making a fake "level 2" leisure category would really revamp its functionality in the game.
Droidhacker 8 Apr, 2016 @ 1:39pm
I think you should move this building, however, I was really thinking about this recently. The leisure category just doesn't work in bigger cities, it just doesn't look right to have these low density buildings surrounded by towers. In fact in most of my cities I de-zone my leisure once the area densifies. It also isn't realistic. In real life in denser areas, the leisure "buildings" like clubs, gyms and arcades are just tenants in towers, with the upper areas being condos or malls, or like Miami Beach, the nightclubs are on the first level and the upper floors are a hotel. What would be really really kickass is for you and maybe Quad to make a handful of cool leisure towers, like casinos or malls with clubs, gyms, etc. on the first floor (just in looks there are no true multi function buildings). Then when the area around a leisure district densifies you could simply use the building themes mod to force your towers to grow and replace the smaller ones.

This is amazing.

Nah I like it. More complaining about other people not doing more free stuff for me.:steamhappy:

Now, if you could help me figure out how to turn Unique Casinos and hotels into growables, that would solve my problem.
Whipplesnoodle  [author] 15 Mar, 2016 @ 6:26pm
Yeh, I'm sorry about that... This was really more of a quick silly thing I made, so I didn't really pay attention to these details. I might update it to tourism, or put a unique one up some time, but I'm a bit too busy with other projects atm. I'm really sorry if I've disappointed anyone!
AwesomePizza 14 Mar, 2016 @ 4:59pm
There are so few Tourism/Lesuire towers that my sector becomes all this. Wish people would make more...
Sunshine 28 Feb, 2016 @ 2:16am
Pops up all the time for me, had to remove it. :/
Droidhacker 16 Feb, 2016 @ 9:06am
I use a lot of futuristic and tall buildings and yours are perfect, they don't pop too much at all. I think they're perfect actually
Whipplesnoodle  [author] 16 Feb, 2016 @ 8:25am
@Droidhacker: Yeh, accident... thats what I was worried about xD. I'll throw a tourism up in a bit, can't promise it for today though, sorry! I'm glad you like the lighting so much! I do however find that especially my bigger buildings "pop" a little bit too much out of the surrounding cityscape (like this one to an extreme extent in among the leisure buildings).... I myself only use a select few of my own buildings for that reason xD.
Droidhacker 16 Feb, 2016 @ 6:50am
This building, is really, really cool. I like it a lot. My favorite thing about your buildings is the neon lighting you add, really makes them "pop," At the same time, could you please make a tourism version? The leisure is all shorter buildings and the tourism is towers, this just wouldnt look right in a leisure block and would be a pain to put into your tourism centers.
