Great looking asset.
A problem with its white surface which doesn't look good if the ground is not 100% flat.

growable is low, RICO is high - I think there was a reason I chose to make it this way, but cannot remember it

Raise your land value in that area or use mod plop the growables and set the land value complaint to OFF.

Rico and real population don't really work together, but it wont crash the game either. It's a bummer.

Is this the growable version, the RICO ready version or both? I'm confused because I want this to grow and not have to add it in as a ploppable.

I've been trying to get my lighting right in this game for a little while.... This asset as well as the other 2 which are similar to this one have a very bad tendency to turn almost pure white. I've come to the conclusion that the specularity on theses is too high when compared to the rest of what I have.

How do you change the level of the asset? I want to use this with a District Theme, but it will only spawn assets that are Level 1, and then upgrade to Level 2 and so on.

Can’t play the game at the moment. 
There were some problems with real population mods and RICO. But this was months ago. I'm not sure if this is still the case...

very nice appartments. I used them for a gated community. but why is there only one houshold although I placed it with rico?

I think at least one of those mods is causing the problem. But there might be some settings that allows you the exclude those apartments from the mod’s population adaption.

I have a weird issue - that only seems to affect your appartments 1 through 4. When I first place them in a game, I get the residential count (13-14) as it should be. However, after exiting a game and re launching, all newly placed appartments only allow for 1 household. All appartments that were placed in the previous session of the game still have 13-14 households. Not sure if this is related to these particular assets, or if its more of the RICO side of things

@GamerFrog: That's the risk you take when playing with assets from the workshop. We've all had this problem. Everyone who makes assets for the workshop makes mistakes, I did too. I'm sure Joak's had learned from this and it won't happen again. And be thankfull people make these great assets in their free time, it's not the easiest thing to do. It doesn't always go perfect, but we are all willing to fix it. I think this issue is sorted and we should all go and enjoy the game now :)

had not to much of NGON, but it nerve when objects failed in the city and the biggest problem is, if the player don't see what is not longer in the city and save the game, on the next day come problems and the player don't understand why the value of ground is better and more... ;-)

I understand the principle. And I understand that it can be annoying when some of your growable assets are gone (I think we all were surprised when ngon deleted his workshop).

But I’m not really sure what more to say. I’m not the first who changed one of his assets that caused such a problem and I won’t be the last. And in fact, these are my assets; when I have the feeling to change something, I will do that.

When there is way to update an asset so that every house isn’t gone, then please someone tell me. Of cause I will update it that way.

Next time I should change the id or upload a new asset. But all your buildings are gone too because the old asset won’t exist anymore. There won’t be any name changings in future except it’s really necessary. This time I had to do that, to have consistency. For me it’s very important. I can find my assets easier; the name is not too long and makes more sense.

@GamerFrog Yes I understand, but why ever I named it “J Luxury…”. Why J? I don’t know. All my assets names begin with "Joak’s…". So I changed that. And I canceled “luxury” to shorten the name and in fact I think these buildings aren’t really luxury.

I told you why I changed the name. An asset keeps its id by updating it. Uploading a new asset with different id would cause the same problem (because I would delete the old assets).

but why you change the name? you could let them and update, make perfect and so you tranfser your Joak Luxury apartments 1 ,2 , 3 to other ID's (not available in steam's workshop ;-) ) and the map can't found the id+name. you had could create your newer nice houses with this other ID's.

i hope the space on the map where your houses were, will build in-time-with gaming, will test how long this job need, but ints not nice. so every assetmaker have the power to destroy cities from gamers.

The first two apartment buildings are one of my first buildings I created. I was just learning modeling and importing assets to the workshop, so they aren’t / weren’t perfect. To have consistent naming and workshop preview images (and RICO compatibly) I updated them a few weeks ago. Sorry for the troubles. It won’t happen again. But please, it’s not THAT bad…

why do you rename your crp-file and asset, sooo loadingscreen-mod show "the following assets are used in your city but could not be found." but the ID of your asset is right? your asset had the name "J Luxury Apartments 01" before and so the city can't found this building and the cims will go away, there's empty place and no building. THIS IS A SABOTAGE OF CITIES, my opinion.

@joak i found it odd too, as several assets got deleted and i never got an error after that. So i thought it might be something else. Ah well, the backups are in place and my saves are working again so no harm done eventually :)

@rhmgerads I’m really sorry that you’re getting an error message. It’s a bit strange because deleting or unsubscribing an object shouldn’t make the saves unplayable. At my city all my old RICO buildings are gone, but there is no error etc. So I haven’t thought that this will causes any troubles…

The last update of these apartments caused the ''object reference not set etc.'' error and made my saves unplayable. Found out as i could see that your buildings were missing all of a sudden. What i did have however was a backup of the old versions. Unsubbed the current ones and manually installed the old ones, and the error went away.

@Harkon Unfortunately yes, you have to replace all the gone RICO buildings with the RICO versions of my growable apartment buildings.
The reason is very simple. You don’t have to subscribe two assets for one building anymore; the game has to load only one asset… And because of its 4x3 footprint, it doesn’t have to be a park or unique building anymore.
If this was possible months ago, I would have made one version. But at this time the mod that allows you to add thumbnails etc. for growable assets didn’t exist at that time.

@Fernando Unleashed This is the growalbe version. Are you sure you have subscribed the RICO version?
Note: I’m going to delete the RICO versions soon and make the growable ones RICO ready with thumbnail, tooltip etc. So you have “all in one”.

Sorry, but I think there is nothing I can do. A RICO file changes the object to a ploppable one. It has only a few entries I can use (name, service, level, workplaces, homes, etc.). In fact nothing to set the level 5 land value or something like that.
Perhaps you should try to build these buildings only in areas where growable level 5 buildings have spawned. I’m not playing the game very often, but until now I do not have this problem.

maybe its a mod i am using what causes this. it worked for around a week. one day i was wondering about this "new look" at a district and i saw in building themes the "not loaded" info. i un/resubscribed, nothing changes ... :(

2. the growable are flagged with "not loaded" in my game and wont show up, since a week or so.
3. why dont u make two different versions of the same building. in my eyes it fits in low and high destiny!
