I'm 100% it's the east coast with the antrim mountains and all the other land marks
Your mounted crossbows shoot way faster than the infantry crossbows and carry more amunition.
but having access to good shock cavalry and pikemen is really nice and It is really nice not to have 4 medium axe infanty 5 kings fianna 2 ebdani/chosen raiders 2 moramer cavalry 4 archers and some onagers be every army ever after 50 turns.
the infantry units are almost all ultra low armor& health but are still classed as medium infantry, in addition such low defensive capabilities make them so squishy that they cannot compete with the existing Celtic units as far as usability, their attack stats are not sufficient to balance their defense.
I get that you are supposed to use them with ambush and Fear tactics, But they dont survive long enough to be effective
Then we come to their Availability. You can blitz research the building chain that lets you recruit kings fianna really fast. Celtic axe warriors from the millitary tree also have carry weight into the endgame. It takes a lot more research and preparation to unlock most of your units than those.
Also I believe the Slinger units kill themselves with all ranks fire, and I noticed that ability on the 2h axe infantry unit which doesn't have a missile weapon.
I think that the mounted crossbow archers shoot way to fast 70 ish. 30 amo = op machine gun.
I haven't gotten the chance to test all of your units yet but I think you should do a re-balancing. just a little something that makes them equally or more appealing than the existing Celtic units which also reflects their availability.
I gceist agat "laochra" na gaelach? Ach, scríofa agat “Laocra”
