Is this another thing that was supposed to be patch but is still in? Sigh

Thank you for putting this back online.

This was patched. Just not in the patch notes.

I think this might have been fixed by yesterday's patch.

Oh man, I might actually pick those perks again. Respecced everybody with demolition when I gravely wounded my grenadier and ranger because they were next to each other on a roof, grenadier misses his fucking demolition, sets himself and the ranger on fire AND during alien turn the roof also collapsed, dealing fall damage to both. GJ Firaxis, still love your game tho.

There is also the matter of it not being our mod, so if anybody wishes to make requests, bug reports, or even donations it wouldn't be right for anybody else but you to upload it.

All it takes is registering and then selecting to upload a file. I understand if you don't want the extra hassle, but I (and many others) would really appreciate it. Plus as an added bonus you won't have people asking you to upload it there all the time, anymore. :steamhappy:

Seconding Lancelot and fudeo's requests. :)

It's not all that difficult - you just have to create a (free) account with them. :)

@Lancelot & fudeu
Not gonna lie, I've never uploaded anything to Nexus before and have no idea how to do it. If either of you know how, you're free to do so.
fudeu 23 Feb, 2016 @ 3:46pm
I second Lancelot's request. Would be really nice to have it over there, as well.
Ser Lancelot 20 Feb, 2016 @ 5:19am
Nexus, please? Thanks! (this is a must)

FINALY!
My "Demolicious" Grenediere was always catching on fire!

I thought it was bullshit RNG or something - but now I see it is jsut poor coding...

"Yea... We wanna make the game modable from the start! That way, we don't have to make a working game - the modders do it for us!"

Seriously though, I'll be giving this a try!
Thanks A LOT man!

Thank you so much for this.

@eswee
I suspect it may only cause fires when used with a Beam Cannon which can innately cause fires when causing terrain damage, but I haven't looked into the code enough to know that for sure, and I've never had a Colonel rank Grenadier still using a conventional or Magnetic Cannon.
Azimuth 19 Feb, 2016 @ 10:40am
Don't know (is this feature in the skill ingame description?), but still this "set on fire" ability is stupid, even if intended. You don't fire incendiary ammo to do that.
Wezzles  [author] 19 Feb, 2016 @ 10:11am
@eswee
The ability is intended to set fires when it destroys terrain, it's just that the code (seemingly mistakenly) set the SourceTile (Grenadier's location) rather than TargetTile (enemy's location) on fire.

(I'd subscribe if you were to remove "set target on fire")
Esg 19 Feb, 2016 @ 9:22am
Thanks! Really annoying having to save a inspire to move them after if you really wanted to use it

@A Very Kupo Guy
Saturation Fire would actually set the tile underneath the Grenadier on fire, even if he wasn't in cover. Super annoying.
Arkan 18 Feb, 2016 @ 6:27pm
Very Nice! Thank you! :orb:
A Very Kupo Guy 18 Feb, 2016 @ 5:16pm
I think the main reason it was setting your cover on fire was that it was firing a lot of shots, and plasma shots have a chance to set objects on fire.
ketty 18 Feb, 2016 @ 4:27pm
Thanks! First time I used it and realized it sets your own cover on fire I was so annoyed. Glad I can use it again.
