I am currently running some encounter mods and I guess one of these is being used in one of them at least as far as I know, anyhow found one of these crashed so I dragged the wreckage to my base and rebuilt my version of it from looking at this one meaning I didn't copy and paste it, to my point the one I built I reconfigured the propulsion so its possible to obtain orbit and makes reentry a lot easier, wanted to show the author JD.Horx what I did is this possible?

I love this design! I found a couple of problems though when I spawned it in my test server with Survival settings to match the Multiplayer server I'm playing on, No Jetpack RP PVE/PvP Zones in that a) there was no way to open the doors to get in until I slapped a wind turbine on top (temporarily) and b) She had no Hydrogen Tank.
In the process of adding a pair of Hydrogen Tanks I went a little bit overboard and while I was plumbing my Hydra grew some turrets upstairs.

Hi, I've really liked your design for awhile and now have access to the game, so I've been making my own modifications to it. I was wondering if you are fine with me uploading my finished version to the workshop when I'm done with it. I would mostly just use this as a secure location for my version of the blueprint.

They ship is really nice but only the cockpit is pressurised, the rest of the interior cant hold oxygen.

thanks alot the current weight of the ship is just over 2 million kg so in theory im perfectly fine still sheild generator mod will hep out with any mistakes thanks again

Well, you can assume, that with 10 small and one large turbine plus at least 6 small ion thrusters you get the following upward acceleration in a dense atmospheric environment:
(10x 420kN + 5400kN) x 90% + 6x 288kN x 30% ~ 9,158,000m*kg/s*s

So for floating on an earthlike planet you should at least have an acceleration of 9,981m/s*s, so lets solve that thingy here
9,158,000m*kg/s*s / 9,981m/s*s = 917,500 kgs = 917 metric tons

Thats the maximal mass for steady floating with the current ships layout in an altitude of up to 3000m. So for landing I would try to be about 10% under that, SE behaves sometimes unpredictable so a test run on an offline world could be useful!

author or whome ever can answer what is the max weight i can load the ship up with befor it will always crash and burn in landing on 1g planet as a referance because im im in a moded server with maxed out carry cap's and the mods have added alot of weight to the ship so just takeing air to the side of caution and thanks author great ship designs :)

I can second Gg's findings on both fronts: the ship is amazing (as always) and the rear section is depressurised. Also, I find the external airlock door easy to trigger by mistake; it might be better to remove the auto-open sensor and revert it to your standard auto close system (another one of your ideas I've grown to love)

My first comment on a blueprint ever, but I just had to. This is my favorite ship of all time. It's efficiency of design and usefulness are beyond what I expected. I didn't even realize I needed a ship with this mission profile until I flew it, and since then it's been like a second home for me. Thanks for posting your ships to the workship; this really is a masterpiece of design.

Hey! I just tried out this ship in creative mode, and I -love- the design. Simple, functional, yet graceful. I'm looking for a ship to leave the atmosphere with in survival mode on multiplayer servers, and I tried briefly to mod the Hydra so it can run with hydrogen thrusters as opposed to regular thrusters. No such luck so far. Do you have any recommendations for such craft? Any existing designs or concepts you can point me to?

I really like this ship! It handles well and is easy to land and return to orbit. The size is perfect and the A frame is well designed and can be used for various roles. Removing the atmo thruster gives you easy access to the center section to do any interior modifications. It is also very easy to remove the jump drive and reuse that space. I have already created a cargo version by replacing the jump drive with another atmo thruster and stuffing the space around the center atmo thruster with cargo boxes.
It’s not just a ship but a multipurpose Vacuum Atmosphere Hybrid (VAH, I just made this up but claim no originality) flight system.
