Sorry to necro this comment section, but I noticed a missing entry.
I was using this mod to craft all of the skill books for a collection, and was using a checklist to ensure I had them all without repeats. The book "Three Thieves" (boosts Sneak skill) is not present in the Forge crafting menu. Not in the Leather group with most of the other books, nor in any of the other categories.
Granted, I do run a few dozen other mods concurrently, but to have only this one skill book absent feels more like a missed entry than a mod conflict.

Everything else I've tested works perfectly fine, including turning firewood into rolls of paper, black soul gems into the black book stars, and generating the inert Black Books, and skill books work normally as well to give the skill boost when read.

not craft friendly. makes it harder for people. I want this to be easy for everyone =)

My opnion, i like this MOD, but in the craft i add the inkwell and quill, beacuse you need the ink and teh quill for write a book.

I haven't checked yet. I will tell you when I do.

Is the items working? Black Books were abit difficult. Breaking the script off them to be read normally as any other :P

I got it to work. I tried using paper I already had. I feel like an idiont now. I absolutely love the mod, now I don't need to run around trying to find every single book.

The mod is not broken, you either have another mod conflicting or you just do not have all the materials needed to make it. No quests needed to make them

For some reason I can't craft the books.

And in the beginning there was a great mod maker ! I love all your mods. Each one adds a refreshing touch to the fantastic game that is Skyrim. Thank you for your work.

damn... you scared me there with "You will need a total of 58,650 Paper Rolls" but after I read the whole text I know I can make a book. honestly? how hard is it for me to not make a book when I collect things... the problem? is just that I have hard to let items go. and my guestion to the creator can you make this with no DLC? not sure I got DLC

The creation kit is a way to make a book and all but I too would prefer to be able to make one in-game. With the incredible scripts made out there I'm sure someone could eventually do it.

You might want to add a screenshot of the Black Books on a shelf, as it's a unique selling-point for your mod. Might get more downloads. ;) Oh, and cool idea for a mod.

When I saw this, I thought "craftable books" meant being able to write whatever you want in them, like in Minecraft. But this...Did you already memorize every single book on Tamriel before even coming to Skyrim? Were you a librarian, a voracious reader, AND have perfect memory before becoming an adventurer?

Finailly! I can collect the wolf queen books WITHOUT jumping to apocrypha! Herma-mora is a creep! Also wood now has a purpose! And i can copy that falmer guide without stealing. But could you make it so we can write our own books? And it would be nice if we could craft quil pens and stuff. But seriously, thank you.

that's a great idea, i like also collecte books, but there are so many ! Just before went home with about 50 books. Will stay lot in my houses, to craft all this nice stuff.
