Playing this for the first time in 2025. Very well made, even if it's a very old mod. The theme for the mod was very interesting and to an extent, it felt like starring in a short movie.
Play the mod before you decide to make le epic r/clevercomebacks level comeback.

A little short, but excellent. Even the ending quit gaming, your future awaits ;) has a message.

This is an outstanding mod. The world and the characters in it were fascinating, and I honestly think you could make a standalone game based on this concept. The voice acting in particular was absolutely fantastic, to the point where I'd consider it on par with the original game. I loved the subtle reveal that anything below a 100 was grounds for outplacement. The music fit the situations they played in (by the way, do you have a list of the songs you used?), and ending was strange, yet heartwarming.

All in all, this is one of the greatest, and definitely the most original, Soma mods I've played. 10/10

I'm humbled and deeply touched that this mod is still enjoyed. Not sure 0=0 will be getting a sequel or new material, but I definitely look forward to working on more thematically similar content.

Thank you all for the kind words and for playing :)

Very beautifully made, every second of it was truly enlightening and tense gameplay wise. I did not stop till I reached the end, this mod deserves its own standalone game if I were to be honest.
Absolutely beautiful soundtrack
Great voice acting
Great effects
Excellent map layout

Those of you who are looking at this and thinking about passing it by, don't because it is eye opening and truly fantastic. The Dreamer, you sir definitely have your work cut out for you excellent, excellent work :steamhappy:

I M H O T E P™ {LINK REMOVED}, Thank you very much, appreciate the kind words. I'm not sure what's in the future for 0=0's universe, but I definitely loved Observer so I wouldn't rule halucinations and surrealism in future projects. That being said, these things are better experienced than explained, so I'll keep my flabby lips sealed for now, ;)

what music was used? I really love the soundtrack

Hello again!!! :) I'm currently in the process of finishing the script for the short film adaptation of 0=0. Would it be possible to get a copy of the custom audio files you created (For example the line "There he is! Take him down!") so that some of them (Particularly some of the voice overs) can be integrated in to the short? Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks :) P.S. I sent you a Steam friend request so that any further contact is much easier. (Thanks again)
P_R_A_E_T_O_R_I_A_N 16 Sep, 2017 @ 12:29pm
I am speechless. THe music was great, the voice acting was suprisingly superb, gameplay was quite new, that along with a fact that you turned an underwater horror game about robots, to a world were colectivism, numbers and capitalism topple over besic human units. If it were for me, i think you should make it into a game or something. A more surreal and symbolic like Oberver_ and Layers of fear.
The Dreamer  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 12:59pm
@fishncustard Feel free to, consider me both immensely flattered and interested, :D
fishncustard 5 Sep, 2017 @ 5:21am
Would it be possible to get permission from you to create a short film heavily inspired by the story of 0=0 ? You will of course be credited in every way possible and this would be a nonprofit project. Thanks! :)
The Dreamer  [author] 23 Jul, 2017 @ 9:04pm
@Allie Anarchy, I'm both humbled and grateful for your enjoyment of my work. 0=0 is a product of blood, sweat and tears, and people like yourself who go out of their way to let creators know that their efforts aren't for naught are rare and welcome indeed.

Thanks for playing, and don't stop with these; there's plenty more awesome custom stories on the workshop :)
Allie 23 Jul, 2017 @ 5:48pm
Very unique. Enjoyed it heavily. Ladders could use a touch up - no way to go down them, to me, beside jumping down and grabbing it as you fall. The very first puzzle was perhaps a little too subtle but doesn't really require a change. The Atlantic Ocean joke was a welcome bit of lightness to a surreal and introspective little game. Felt like I was playing something by Lynch, from start to epilogue. Ten out of ten, IGN.

Side note: the surprise ASCII IRRATIONAL GAMES logo was a great first impression, setting the tone for the high level of quality which it never stopped delivering.

Okay sorry I thought from the way the robot was talking and guessing names that I was supossed to write a name, thanks for the quick reply btw.
The Dreamer  [author] 8 Jul, 2017 @ 11:28pm
@Darketh Dylanger Not sure if you still need help, but it's a button. Just click it, no typing required to progress.
Dylan Darko 8 Jul, 2017 @ 9:00pm
At the very first room I'm trying to type in a name and nothing happens, if I click on it just enters the name SUBJECT NAME HERE am I supossed to be able to type anything?
The Dreamer  [author] 25 May, 2017 @ 2:06pm
@Vent Xekart Cool, glad you found it engaging, as I put a lot of myself into it. I can't say I have any other custom stories with the same quality, but I write a lot of short fiction covering similar themes: https://fuckthelist.blogspot.com/ if you're interested.
Vent Xekart 25 May, 2017 @ 12:51pm
@The Dreamer I found it disturbing and sad but as I said before it was interesting.
The Dreamer  [author] 24 May, 2017 @ 10:12pm
@Vent Xekart You didn't enjoy it... Is that a "I found it disturbing and sad" comment or "mechanically it sucks balls" comment. Either would be welcome, and either way, glad you at least found it interesting. :)
Vent Xekart 24 May, 2017 @ 7:13pm
This is the first of one of your mods I've played through twice so far (I did two seperate playthroughs so I could see both endings) and while I say I didn't enjoy it I did find it interesting. I can't wait to try out your other mods.
The Dreamer  [author] 15 Apr, 2017 @ 12:35pm
@Jordy, But the epilogue isn't really canon. What happens basically happens, :\
The Dreamer  [author] 15 Apr, 2017 @ 12:34pm
@Jordy, it's the main ending, there's an epilogue that occurs if you either never kill robots or listen to a few full dialogues.
Jordy 15 Apr, 2017 @ 5:27am
Thanks, that was instant Restart again. Great continuation!

Is the game suppost to crash to desktop, once you're being shot down?
