No one's commented on this mod for over three years, so I just gotta say,

It is extremely satisfying, when one of my male soldiers with this voice, kills an enemy target and then screams out in Zaeed's voice, "BURN, you son of a bitch!"

Mod has been updated with the fix to reduce RAM usage. Feel free to subscribe to our entire collection now as you shouldn't get loading time problems anymore (with our mods at least).

Gotcha. Well thanks Emmote for looking into your settings and everything. I would suspect the gain on the actual ME audio files in compression got shifted - meaning - given different setups the audio will not perform in a nice balanced output from configuration to configuration.

If you can source me the original files- i can go off and begin testing for you. FR me, if interested :):steamhappy:

For me voice volume in game is 100%, master is about 50%.

Standard soldier (base game) voice volumes are nearly indistinguishable from the mass effect voice pack volumes for me.
But, as I say, a lot of people have complained that they are much quieter, and some have said they are louder.

I can't turn their volume up because the ones who say it's too loud will complain more, or vice versa.

If you don't mean volume or quality, I've no idea what you mean. I'm no sound engineer.

There seems to be a huge problem with volume at the moment with this game. There are a lot of people saying the voice packs are too loud, and others saying they are too quiet.

I've no idea why some peoples volumes are lower than the standard soldiers and some are higher. So it's not really I can do anything about.

For me, the volume is nearly perfect when compared with standard soldiers.

Sorry, the quality is great. Its the EQ im concerned with. I can barely hear him in the battle. Several other voice packs seem to have found a sweet spot.

To me, it's the opposite Locke. I find the radio filter jarring. And adding a radio filter version would make the mod twice as big and compound the current multi-mod memory leak problem.

Not only that but it would be a huge time-sink to add the filter to over 100 files, and that's just for one voice pack.

All in all, for me, there are too many reasons not to do that, sorry.

This is probably my favorite of your voice packs along with Garrus, you picked out some great lines. But man do I wish you would have added a radio filter to the sound bites. Kinda jarring when thew majority of your team sounds like radio chatter except for a couple soldiers that sound like they are standing right next to you.

eldiabs - there's still a solution: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=619141883 . This allows you to load saves ignoring missing content, and once loaded in the escape menu you can reset mod dependancies

Well, eldiabs, there's nothing I can do, my hands are tired. Either I fix the spelling error again and break peoples games, or I don't and have some peopels games broke.

Either way people lose. I'm afraid you'll either have to start again, or download the mod that removes the dependency error. I can't remember the name off the top of my head.

Exactly, yeah. It should go off the mod ID. You'd imagine that's what the ID is for anyway. It's about the only thing you can guarantee is unique anyway.

Thanks, and totally agreed, it's an extremely poor design choice to make an easily editable field that appears to power nothing more than the visible name of the mod or feature and use it for determining mod dependancies

I actually haven't changed the name of the mod at all, only the display name (the name that shows up in the voice menu). As that's what the XCOM2 game uses to determine what mods it's currently running (which is STUPID btw) it means I'll have to change the display name back. Which means reintroducing the spelling mistake.

While that is really, really annoying, I'm going to do it to let peoples game's work again.

Hi, I think you've changed the mod name the saved games look for, which means saved games with this mod active before the name was changed cant be loaded. Can you change the name back please?
