Crashes at beginning of game when I try to build a pickaxe

not sure if it's a mod conflict, but I've encountered a few issues. tiki masks on the ground are invisible, and the tiki statue is not giving me access to tribal tech at all. on my 2nd year the volcano shut down for the rest of the season after i entered it to calm it down. then in the 3rd year's dry season i went there again and the exact same thing happened. this time however it crashes my game consistently once i leave the volcano again( with a lua error)

Any chance to make this mod a little bit compatible with other mods. Im not sure wich ones cause it but the game always crashes in the worldgen screen when sw plus is enabled with other mods

@СССР☭☆ ahhh i've looked into it and it seems that it actually crashes if you don't make the world hamlet compatible when you first generate the world... so basically having hamlet is now a requirement of the mod. This is because klei changed their code for handling special crafting (obsidian stand, ancient tab etc), so I'm afraid it wont work if you don't have hamlet :(. I've updated the required DLC to stop this in future.

@Whyro Yeah I saw that mod randomly one day I downloaded it and didn't even realize it had some of my stuff in until I found them in game!!! I thought it was so cool that someone had ported it to dst lmao I will re-add that thing to the description, I am always happy for people to do whatever they want with this :)

Oh thats really sad to hear, this mod and specially all thoose ideas feels like theres a lot of potential. I hope you will find the motivation the continue this mod sometime in the future. Oh by the way idk if you are aware but some content from this mod is ported to the dst mod Tropical Experience by Vagner after my suggestion. This page and you are credited in the Tropical Experience steam page. I hope thats ok for you, we decided to add thoose features after seeing you write something like "anyone can take over this mod" in this page before. If you have any problems your work getting used in another mod its completely understandable and will be removed from the mod at your will. Also we added some extra features under the name of shipwrecked plus, you can port any of thoose features to this mod if you want. Would have be nice to see this mod getting new content again. And would not be much of a work for you compered to adding fully original stuff created by scratch.

@Whyro I had a lot of great ides of things I wanted to add originally (flamingos, tier 3 science, rideable turtles, eldorado boss & pirate raiders to name a few), but I sadly don't really have the motivation to work on this project anymore. I updated it so people could still play the current version it if they wanted, but there are no plans for future updates at the moment.

@СССР☭☆ if you enable it in the mod options in-game it should just work when you load a new world like normal

Hey guys, just a long overdue update. Firstly I'd like to say thank you to everone that has subscribed and enjoyed this mod. The reason there hasn't been an update in a long time is because I got a full time job, there may be a time when I come back and add all the cool stuff I had planned but I'm not sure when that will be. With regards to the new Hamlet DLC that Klei is working on, I have no idea if this will break the mod and if it does I won't be able to fix it for some time. I'm sorry if this has dissapointed some people but there is no update planned.

Venus fly traps are plants that can be dug with a shovel and relocated. They are basically eyeplants that will only attack insects (wont pick up items or attack any non-insect characters). There main use is during the flood season as they are great against mosquitos. They are non-renewable and there is only about 10 in a world. It is also interesting to note that since they "eat" the insect whole you won't be able to collect any of the drops.

The turtles will be neutral mobs that live in groups in shallow water. They can be ridden at any time which basically gives the player an infinate boat. The downsides are that they are slower, can't surf waves, have no boat slots and are non-renewable (but they will have very high hp). Only 3-4 of them will spawn in the world.

The venus fly trap will definatly be in the next update as I have already made it, however I'm not sure if the giant turtles will be.

- A new boat that uses blubber

- Flamingos
- Rideable giant turtles

So whens the next update? I have been waiting for it because this is prob one of the best Shipwrecked content mods, can't wait to see the next update!

Also Tiki Head (statue) texture is glitched: There is glitched a black stripe floating in the air on the left of head.

@Moose I will be adding mod settings so you will be able to pick and choose which features will spawn in the world.
