Thanx for ur reply my friend, I will take a look. I like the assets very much, especially the Motherland Statue ;)

@Stoj
If you don't subscribe to a prop that is used by a workshop asset, it won't appear in your game. Still the asset works fine without it. If you use "Loading screen mod", it will tell you that a prop is missing, but that's no problem at all.

Other than that, you can change assets on your own in the asset editor, that the game provides. I do that all the time, if the appearance/props don't please my taste.

Nice assets.
How do you remove the chevrons? Why are the ugly things there in the first place?

@Aqudar™

Hey just wanted to give a heads up. I've subscribbed to all of your roundabouts hoping to have access to the Flowing Fountain, sadly looking through everything while in game, the fountain is no where to be found. I went to check in the list of assests, etc and the game states in order to use this you'll need the After Dark DLC. A huge bummer, but still awesome that you went ahead and did this, Those that own the DLC will have access to this wonderful creation. I love all of your roundabout designs and hope to see more in the future.

Hope this isn't too much of a bummer thing to read but wanted to let you know since no one seemed to be 100% sure if the DLC was required or not.

Since, as Elias says in earlier comments, the asset is generic to the game as a Unique Building, so is made by Colossal Order, you would probably have to address questions about the appearance of the water to the Colossal Order staff to get an answer.

Why does the water look like paint?
Freamsy 18 Jan, 2017 @ 12:59pm
Thank you very much for your answer. I found it in the Unique Building Section, I just never saw it before because I have tons of assets! :steamhappy:
Elias  [author] 17 Jan, 2017 @ 12:34pm
but as i said in the text: this asset is in the game already... though i don't really remember how it looked like originally. maybe that is a version that you are pleased with.
Elias  [author] 17 Jan, 2017 @ 12:32pm
@freamsy
you can change that in asset editor. that is the game's standard tool to redecorate assets and change its footprintsize and so on.

Is it possible to have this amazing fountain as a single ploppable asset? (I mean whitout the hedges)

Hi Elias
:^)
Just an update to tell you I'm still LOVING your ploppable fountain and have placed it (yesterday) in two more residential areas in my Fort Williams game. Thanks so much for making this for all of us.

@silverwind
depends on the type of road you use. if you use 2-lane-roads, it will exactly fit into a roundabout that is 10 units wide (if you create the circle in 4 steps: from starting point 5 units right/5 units up, then 5units up/5 units left and so on). but if you did so with a highway, it wouldn't fit, because highways are wider than 2-lane-roads.

See, you think "making it ploppable" is something anyone would know how to do, right? Surprise - many of us don't have a clue. I love that you made it ploppable. Also, I'm not sure I'd know how to get it out of the Unique Buildings and into a park when I wanted to make one. But now I have your's to do this with. So you see, you do more than you think for us. Keep up the good work, Elias.

@HGscMENTOR
i'm glad you like it, but after all it's a creation of the Cities Skylines Developers. I just redecorated and made it circular and ploppable everywhere ;)

@ Elias
Thank you so much for this - can't tell you how long I've been searching for a fountain that actually had flowing water in it. I loaded it onto my PARKS tools and then changed the stuff around it to fit my game. Now I can plop it anywhere in the game and add the park extension pieces that I made to it to create a large park around it. Or I could just drop it into anything I wanted it in, I guess, as it is, I discovered, ploppable
Thanks again, Elias, for a wonderful fountain.

Yes, then you are right for sure ;) - I thought it was a prop, then nevermind and good work :)
Elias  [author] 24 Feb, 2016 @ 8:12am
it's not a prop... the fountain is the building itself and i just used the "roundabout chevron" from workshop and lights. so then i suppose it should work for everyone... with or without after dark-dlc.
[Delta ²k5] 24 Feb, 2016 @ 4:11am
If that asset uses a prop from AD, what I think it does, you have to as props are not stored in the .crp - props use a adress (Prop ID) to be placed in an asset. Buildings are different from that approach, they got copied ;)

@[Delta ²k5]
do i have to? i thought that everyone could use it, no matter if after dark is installed. can someone check please and tell me for sure?
[Delta ²k5] 23 Feb, 2016 @ 7:16pm
You should add after dark as a dependency
Buzz Dripyear 23 Feb, 2016 @ 7:13pm
Nice. I'm gonna put it somewhere in the richest district in my city.
