can someone update these mods? i really wanted to play as an orc attacking the dwarfs in the underground city like in the dwarf's start but noticed that these mods haven't been updated since 2016 and most likely don't work anymore.

@TheFirstPaige That does makes sense. Unfortunately, I haven't really had time to work on anything on the PC, with real life getting in the way at every turn. I'm not sure if this addon is covered in any others (I've given permission for it to be used, and anybody is welcome to), but I'm hoping to have time to play again, soon, and I'll see what I can do about finishing this up properly.

Without spoiling much, there is lore you can find during the Embers campaign that suggests Yetis and Yeeks have common history, so putting the Yeti start in Irkkk would make sense beyond the idea that the Kruk Yeti race is just an Orc psionist possessing a yeti body.

Hey - I really love this addon!

As others have suggested, perhaps give Whitehooves the normal undead start?
Additionally, I think the Yeek start would be the most fitting for Yetis, since, lore-wise, the Yetis are actually mind controlled by psionic orcs. Since Iirk is the place for the main psionic community in the main campaign, I think it'd be a fitting start for them.

Just a quick note that choosing an Ashes class doesn't start you in the Searing Halls when you choose one of the Embers races.

Okay, I put a new version up that should fix the escort problem (I tested with a Whitehoof and got one on level 2 of the swamp). Not sure if this will work retroactively with existing characters or only with new ones you create.

@SteeWen Ah, yeah, I think that's because the races themselves don't have escort possibilities assigned to them. I'll upload a new version with that being fixed soon.

I don't know if it's this addon or "choose your escort", but I didn't had any escort with my whitehoof-reaver.

Maybe beginning yeti in "norgos lair" could be interesting (beccause of Snow...).

And for the Whitehoof, maybe like the other undeads ? In the special dungeon (i forgot the name).

Looking at the options, I think giving yetis a similar start to ogres works well.

Good idea. At the time of making it I just wanted 'em to be playable. I'm not overly familiar with the lore of the game, but I don't mind adjusting starting locations and whatnot.

Have you thought of giving them their own lore instead of handwaving it? Like, orcs in the Maj'Eyal campaign could actually be half-orcs. Whitehoof would have the same start as the other undead races. Not sure about yetis.
