This causes WOTC to crash for me, scrubbed through all 172 mods and found this one as the culprit. It crashes right as a fight is about to start and the troops are deployed

Unfortunately this mod causes my WotC game to crash.

doesnt work even after switching back from RUS to ENG localization, and then back once again from ENG to RUS (which is faster than reinstalling whole game).
then still Re-installing XCOM 2. and disabling all mods this does not work.

It worked fine in WotC for me when I was using it.

unsubbed until updated. It was putting random 'controller icons' on my task bar, and they weren't even accurate - like having a yellow Y button appear on ALL skills.

Any word yet about getting this mod updated to work for Long War 2?

Great Mod but it needs to be updated for LW 1.2. Hope the creator of the mod is on mood to fix it. Realy big tks for all the good mods you did. Perfect Information is one of your best mods.

I can confirm bug with black square instead of grenade icons in acual version of mod.

Mod removes several other ability icons and leaves black squares. Really needs fixing as this mod is hard to live without.

Will have a look at why the mod is currently blank in LW2 (Probably a hud update that breaks the mod). Not getting anything done before next week.

I'm holding off from playing XCOM 2 Long War 2 until this mod gets updated or another mod replaces it. This mod is essential for me.

I've taken a month or so of Xcom while people sorted out the issues from the last patch (the one which added full controller support), and have fixed up for my own purposes those mods with outstanding issues, including this one! Like most, it was just a bit of copy/pasting for changes to the xcom base source code (and for at least one, just a simple recompile against new base code!). Sounds like it could use some tweaking for LW2 (just finishing of a normal run before giving that a try, waiting out mod conflicts is a bonus!|).

It took me talking on the forums, but yes, this mod causes the utility icons (grenade, etc) to become black on LW2

Same here mischief. If nothing else at least this was easy enough to track down which of my mods was doing the black icons. Hope this gets updated for LW2. Thanks!

Using this with long war 2 and the utility icons (grenade, etc) are black.

now I don't have to bother trying to remember which of my 32 soldiers (4 squads of 8) has a free reload

@Farkiller, yes, this mod needs an update for LW2

makes the following ability icons blank with LW2: reload, frag grenade, flashbang, fire pistol and fire rocket.

its not a bug with this mod, EVERY mod that adds new abilities such as this, is messed up because of the contoller suport patch. All these mods now show the contoller key numbers over verious ability icons.

Hey. Seen a report of this mod overlaying little controller-esqe yellow "Y" icons on top of soldiers' ability icons.

100% agree with Brimstone Baritone, option of using free or not would be amazing
