Ok, he should be update now. It's actually humerous, I updated him very shortly after your first comment (I fixed vmt paths, and the path for the bumpmap so phong should now appear normally, and not weird. I thought I fixed it now, but, to make sure, I checked it again, I saw that brain texture vmt's path had an incorrect name in it. xD So I had to very quickly fix that...but at least I got there.

If there are any further problems, with any of my other Bionicle addons too, do not hesitate to tell me. :3

Hmm, that explains why I suddenly have the issue, I am subscribbed to nearly all your bionicle addons, yet most are disabled currently due to the fact I have way too many to allow to work when I don't need them yet.

Oh, and yeah, Makuta will come (and probably a full scale MOC along with the Mask of Ultimate Power sometime after)...obviously with the Mask of Control.

Well, it was a recent update, though I was expecting more people to start complaining soon after, but, no. Another thing is, the way it works for me, is because I have another texture somewhere in my addon files that is the same, and is also used on another Bionicle addon. So, many people who happen to have another Bioncle addon that uses that same texture, won't actually get the problem, it's a little complicated the way it works. :P

Well, hey, everyone makes mistakes, and source can be weird about causing problems for random people while other's are perfectly fine. Regardless, the model is still fantastic, and I am eager for the Makuta variant (this is assuming one will come) when the Mask of control is modeled, though obviously I'm getting off track here. Either way, glad I sort of in a way somehow helped with my comment, I was just unsure if it was one sided since I saw no other complaints.

I knew it would happen. Soon after I update him I realized I made a mistake in the vmts...which is causing everyone else the problem but not me. I'll get right on it, and double check to make sure I don't mess anything else up.

I'm not sure if this is an issue others are experiencing, however Ekimu has checkerboards out the wazoo on him for me at least. His brain/eyestalk is also pink, which is definitely wrong, so I'm unsure if this is strictly an issue on my end, or if something with the textures went wrong.

Okay making that joke hurt me deep inside. But still, I hope you get to do more Gen2 models! I like the way the line is going. I hope you change your mind to do some more villains, but what good would they be without any Toa to fight first? :)

Phanto, have you considered showing some of these to lego? some of your original creations (Ekimu, Vulcron) have a lot of potential to help stop Bionicle 2.0 from turning into a hero factory clone.

Well, adding, "a_proportions" to the qc (because currently I just want to see if I can recompile one of CBB's pms) in that specific place seems to have worked, http://i.imgur.com/7WCRZJX.png (I have a feeling that line is incorrect, but I'm not sure what to put it as instead)

I mean, it compiles alright now but looking at the model in HLMV looks horrible:

Note that Crowbar does not necessarily correctly decompile the QC file for models that use the Proportion Trick. In the QC file in the image you linked, the last $sequence (line 431) is missing the $sequence SMD or DMX file name or the $animation reference option. In this case it's obviously missing the $animation reference option, "a_proportions", as shown in the tutorial.

I just don't think I can do it (I followed more off from the linked pages on your tutorial page)...yet nothing is exactly explained why there is a third anim called a_proportions and how that's made (I somewhat made the first two, reference and proportions).

More importantly, looking at CaptainBigButt's pms with custom proportions, they have the same qc lines as atlas/p-body (obviously the author of those use the same trick), which is:

http://i.imgur.com/XEPHbjN.png I've tried it like that ages ago, but for the whole sequence on line 422 (for example), Crowbar refuses to compile it because it says it cannot find "fps" If I removed the line, it compiles, but the model looks distorted and weird. I just wish there was a video tutorial explaining everything in detail. Surely there is something I have missed... :(

I also did a mod for my figure of Ekimu, swapping his upper legs for ones like the lower legs of the Protector of Stone, but in Black.

Yeah. definitely get Ikir to go with Tahu. I also plan on getting another Tahu to mod and make accurate to his look in Journey to One.

I think you'll definitely enjoy them, I can't really recommend any of the others out of the box personally, though if I had to suggest one that has the most potential, it's Lewa, purely because his only real flaw would be his short arms, his lower legs can be worked around and his shoulders aren't too bad when posed carefully around the head. That isn't my choice however, so I'll leave you to your choice. I do have one heads up about Kopaka, unless you customize his build, be careful with moving his upper arouns around roughly, his shoulders had a bit of a sketchy connection point with a part that can easily break under enough constant stress. Just a safe heads up since that's basically his only flaw.

I've intended to buy Tahu and Kopaka, they're my first pick, :3 they look awesome. Though I think I can only buy three this week, so, obviously Kopaka, Tahu, and either one of the others.

Ah, my mistake, apologies if I misread the year you typed. If it's any help, I'd definitely recommend Tahu and/or Kopaka if you decide only to get one or a few and call it a day there, they are definitely two of the best in the wave. Although, I feel Ekimu's shoulder armor looks better on him than the Skull villain armor, but that's my opinion.

Anyway, I wish you luck in modeling, and look forward to what ever you you've got for everyone in the future.

@Officer Spencer Pootis, I meant 2016 toa, I have all 2015 toa, I haven't bought any 2016 ones yet, I like their looks, so I may end up buying them all, and of course Umarak the Hunter for the mask of control.

I saw a comment from earlier on this addon that said you don't intend to buy all the Toa of last year, so I figured I would ask and offer to see if you'd like me to take pictures of my sets for you. The camera quality is a bit iffy, though I thought I would ask since I have all 6 of the Toa and Protector sets from which might come in handy if you need images of the sets in many different areas.

Also, this Ekimu model is fantastic, though I shouldn't be surprised seeing as it's coming from you, Phanto. Definitely looking forward to what ever else you have in store.

I don't quite get what you mean, the textures? The mask? You can disable his mask, and apply my Mask of Creation (that's also on workshop) as a bonemerge. Also if you mean the hands...well...I've got that in mind already.

@Exhilarating Melee Combat, I've added a ragdoll sequence, I've removed the bonemerge lines, but IT still persists to deform. I've gone as far as to move all my addons to another folder and see if anything was causing it, but nope, it still deforms. Does the command lines that you showed work for other playermodels made by others, or you? If so, something's causing it to act up for me. Also, I discovered the normal maps problem, I really reallly hate when people don't tell me there's a problem! I've fixed it now, though, but if I hadn't removed those addons, I would've never known.

Also, was there any specific way to create the animation for the $animation line (in my case a_proportions)? Or is it supposed to be created the exact same way as normal ragdoll/idle animations? I use blender...but I've noticed from a P-Body PM that the file from $animation line is smaller than the other ragdoll sequence file.

Well, I'll add one in like normally, though I'm unsure if its supposed to be the same one as "a_proportions" (or a new one called "ragdol" like I normally use for PMs) I guess I'll just have to test. I'll remove the bonemerges.

@Phanto - I think part of the problem might be those bonemerges. I'm not sure if this effects it at all, but it looks like you've omitted the ragdoll and idle sequences.
