I start TTS, and load the workshop item. I then take all the pieces, and save them to my chest. Usually a part at a time. Then When I am playing a game, like the workshop item of shadows of brimstone, i can spawn the items from here in to my game from my chest.
Another way to do it, is I put all the related items in a bag and simply save the bag in my chest. The concept is the same, only you don't mess up your table by spawning a simple bag, then pull out of the bag what you need.

(BTW finishing the templates for the decks in serpentment of jargono now, should be up relatively soon)
I am new to the mods for Tabletop Simulator, I started with cards, then tokens and figures. I will eventually get to 3d models and the map tiles. That's why I started with a small enemy pack, then did a deluxe enemy pack. My plan was to do another deluxe enemy pack, then CoC. However, if you have everything scanned already, that's awesome.
Tonight I will see if I can work out how to do the tiles. I suspect it will be easy to reverse engineer the mesh to see how it is done, and then I can PM you.
